“If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I want to do something that I love doing, and will be great at. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 5 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are the leaders of tomorrow. My goal as a Tacoma Special Needs Nanny is to watch over, guide, and educate the children. I am able to do housekeeping that includes doing the dishes, laundry, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as light tidiness of bathroom. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am confident, friendly, funny, hardworking, and responsible. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include reading, arts and crafts, and some fun learning games; as well as some outdoor activities. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be a loving, nurturing family, full of life, sweet, friendly, funny, and hardworking as a whole. A family, who loves their children, open-minded, understanding, and welcoming would be the perfect family for me.”
“I have known Amira for almost 7 years and have had the privilege of working with her for two years at a summer camp where I was lead counselor. I have always known her to be one of good character and hard-working. She was very kind and well liked amongst the campers who ages ranged from 4-14. She was very helpful in all ways whether setting up activities, tutoring, or planning her own in camp events. Parents consistently reported that the group of children she was in charge of always had great things to say about her. She was a great benefit to the students she worked with at the camp. I enjoyed working with Amira. She has an easy-going and caring personality. Her work ethic as a Tacoma Special Needs Nanny is fantastic because she is dependable, trustworthy, and she is always determined to get the job done.”
“Amira served as a part-time nanny for my children. She cared for my two children ages 5 and 3. I highly recommend her for future employment. She was very dependable and I feel blessed to have her as a part of my children's lives. Amira has a kind-hearted, patient, and nurturing personality. She went above and beyond her duties as a Tacoma Special Needs Nanny. She even taught my five- year old potty training for school. She helped my three year old learn how to recognize letters and colors. I always felt safe leaving my children with her. She was very understanding, even when having to work overtime. She even transported my children to doctor's appointments and local activities.”
“Amira has been in my employ as a childcare provider and helper for the past two years. I believe that she is well qualified and experienced to accept the challenge of being a full time Tacoma Special Needs Nanny. Amira’s responsibilities were making meals, and taking the children to short outings to the park, mall, etc. I have had the utmost confidence in her judgment and maturity, and have always felt comfortable leaving my children in her care. Amira is amazing!”
“I have known Amira for many years, and even as a young girl, she has always taken to children. Being a single mother of three was extremely hard for me in earlier years, but having Amira around made things a little bit easier. I can recall Amira teaching my then 2 year old how to walk. She is very mothering and cares a lot for children. Teaching them to read, write, and speak properly. She cares for the "booboos" and evening feeding and clothing them when they are in her care. I could, with the drop of a hat, call Amira and she will come right over to help me to care for my babies. They adore her and look up to her, especially my daughter. Having Amira as my Tacoma Special Needs Nanny has been a blessing. I recommend her to family and friends often. Before I go, let me mention that I have a son who is Autistic. Amira is one of his favorite people in the world. She is one of the only people he lets into his personal space. She works really well with him and he is extremely comfortable with her.”
“Amira worked for me over a year and a half as a Tacoma Special Needs Nanny. She hired her immediately after her interview and was impressed by her positive and respectful attitude. She provided great care for my daughter and was always punctual. She would always let me know her available work schedule weeks in advance so that I can plan my work week accordingly and she was always cooperative and always did everything I ask in my daughter’s care. In addition, she is highly reliable and at tentative. She displays strong character and great work ethic. I trusted her to make the best decisions for my daughter and she always have when I wasn’t present.”
