“I am an artist and natural caregiver who comes alive around the energy and vitality of children. I truly enjoy the challenge and opportunity to care for the many families I’ve been fortunate to know over the years. I grew up as the youngest of three children and the only girl in the family in a tiny town, and now I’m a devoted aunt to five special nieces and nephews. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives, I would say I am artistic, energetic, laid-back, kind, and loyal. I enjoy scheduling fun activities for kids, both indoors and out, and would ideally like to incorporate activities that encourage learning about subjects that the child is interested in particularly. I’m also very big on unplugging, getting outside, and exercising! There should also be some downtime scheduled, where nothing strenuous is done but we are still learning and sharing experiences together. I enjoy involving the children I care for in helping around the house: preparing dinner, cleaning up, and making recipes together can be fun and a valuable bonding experience. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking Tacoma Nannies like me, I would envision them as lovely, kind individuals who care deeply about their children and communicate with me openly about their needs on a regular basis. They respect me as a person, as well as a caregiver, and are very fair-minded.
