“I have a deep love for children! My goal is to help another family because I know from experience the amount of time, care and love that it takes to raise a child today. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I have a great love of children and know what it takes to run a household. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 25 years and can honestly say I get extreme satisfaction with what I do! I feel that children are our future. My goal as a Snohomish County Tutor is to help parents enhance the lives of their children. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes meal preparation, child laundry, and anything Mom and Dad need an extra hand with. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am nurturing, caring, attentive, helpful, and understanding. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include age appropriate activities, including but not limited to crafts, games, exercise, outdoor activities, and reading. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be loving and understanding with strong family values and good communication skills.”

“Cathy was the best mother that anyone could have ever asked for. She always had something fun and exciting for us to do from arts and crafts to stories, day trips, vacations, learning activities, and play-time. We were involved in girl scouts, sports, and so many different family activities to keep us all close. She was caring but firm. She taught us the importance of family. She had a home cooked meal ready for us every night. No matter where we all were, or what we were doing, we all made it to the table for dinner. She accommodated all of our specific allergies and tastes and by the end of each night she would have cooked at least 4 different things so that everyone had something that they wanted to eat. She taught me so many things that helped me navigate my way through life successfully. I know that I can always count on her whenever I need her. She showed me so much unconditional love and support and helped me become the woman that I am today. She is the most amazing person that I know. She juggles her time caring for us, working, and volunteering at church. I have never met a more organized and dedicated person in my life. Now that my sisters and I are grown, she has been blessed with 5 grandchildren, one of them being my own. She is very active with them. She runs around with them and keeps them occupied and happy. Everyone can’t wait to go to ‘grand mom’s’ house to play! She was with me in the delivery room and every step of the way since giving birth to my baby boy. She has taught me things to help me be the best parent that I can be since this was my first child and I had asked for her to help. She knows when to step in and give her guidance and assistance and when to let me take the lead. Whenever I need someone to watch my son, I am relieved to know that I have someone as qualified, nurturing, and caring as my mother for the job! He is only 2 months old right now and I don’t trust him alone with anyone else. She is the type of person who would drop anything to help anyone. I am so grateful that I have her as my mother and that my son has her as his grandmother. She is a beautiful person inside and out. I cannot think of anyone who would make a better Snohomish County Tutor. I know that she will care for your children as she did with me, my sisters and all of her grandchildren and I feel that you would be very fortunate to have her in your lives. If you choose my mother to be your nanny, you won’t be sorry!”
