“I am very nurturing, easy to approach with a mild-tempered character. I am the oldest of 3 daughters, and my parents each have more than 4 siblings, which led to my sisters and I having a lot of cousins to grow up with. Children are also our future, so I feel the need to nurture their creativity, listen to their thoughts, and push them to do things they didn't think they could do. My goal as a Nanny is to teach something new to the children I serve every day. Whether it is a knowledgeable fact, or how to treat others, my goal would be to stress the importance of learning and applying what you know. I am able to do housekeeping that includes sweeping and washing dishes. I love clean floors and enjoy washing plates and cups. I am also able to do laundry, clean up and organize play space, take care of pets, and grocery shop. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am nurturing, imaginative, positive, funny, and stable. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include: reading and story time, make our own snack (simple recipes for kids to participate in the kitchen), clean up and break down of play area, help with chores to demonstrate responsibility, time set aside for children to decide which activity they want to do, and a rewards system for great behavior. Also, I will incorporate a plethora of games and activities such as, silent ball, musical chairs, charades, board game and card games.
