“I am a high spirited loving individual who absolutely adores children. When I see children my eyes light up and my heart is warm and fuzzy. I was raised to be loving and generous. With young children I realize they have short attention spans, so I am creative in my teachings by utilizing song and dance. I am safety conscious and aware of my surroundings to minimize injury. I am one to do daily sheets so in the absence of parents when they come home it feels as if they haven’t missed anything. My goal as a nanny is to be a close replacement of mom and dad while they are working and to provide the parents with peace of mind knowing their most precious gifts are in safe hands. That they will feel confident in knowing their child is learning new things each and every day. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other, it would have to be because I always wanted to grow with a family and care for children long term. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 7 years and can honestly say I love and am passionate about what I do! I feel the children are curious and open minded to new things. My goal as a Sammamish Special Needs Nanny is to care for children while they learn in fun creative ways in and outside the home and to uphold values and instruction of parents to the best of my ability. I am able to do housekeeping that includes cooking meals, grocery shopping, and light cleaning. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am caring, nurturing, responsible, high spirited and a good communicator. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include singing, arts and craft, daily learning activity, and potty training (if required). If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be fun and loving.”
“Janeeka was definitely a dependable nanny for the most part for our family. She was very up front with many things and was honesty was never a problem. She displayed integrity throughout her time with our family. She was very flexible and came in early whenever we needed her to. Janeeka kept us up to date and we had an app about the baby’s day and she made sure everything was entered during the day so that we knew what Janeeka did with our children throughout the day. I would definitely recommend her again because she is a great Sammamish Special Needs Nanny, she was just not a right fit for our family at this time. Janeeka also has other stuff she needs to take care of in her personal life. She was very good at her job and did very well when caring for our children. She will definitely be a great nanny for another family, she just wasn’t the right fit for our family at this time.”
“Janeeka was my co-teacher. She was an outstanding co-teacher and was an asset to the classroom. Janeeka has excellent verbal and written communication skills, is highly motivated, and can ensure that any task given to her will be completed. During her tenure, she was responsible for supervising children 6 weeks to 5 years old, communicating with families, preparing meals, and providing a safe, yet stimulating learning environment. She also assisted with lesson planning and mentoring new staff members. Janeeka effectively managed a classroom of children in a professional and efficient manner. Whenever anyone needed help Janeeka was more than willing to lend a helping hand. She has an excellent rapport with fellow educators and the families we served.
