“I am a loving and energetic individual with a passion for helping. I am very outgoing, disciplined and believe being a nanny will allow me to bring a warm and welcoming persona to any family. I come from a very close-knit family; understanding and believing in the saying “it takes a village to raise a child.” I hope that I can become a Redmond Household Manager to a family and contribute to the raising and development of the children involved. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because it will allow me to bring my love for children and passion for family together. I know I can be a beneficial asset to any family. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 15 years and can honestly say I cherish what I do! I feel the children are the future and what they learn and what they become is because of the family’s involvement. Family does not only include parents, but the relatives and in this case nanny who will be an integral part of this child’s upbringing. My goal as a Nanny is not only to enforce the guidelines to raising the child as set forth by the parents, but to also bring in another set of eyes, hands and heart to that child/children’s life. I am willing to do light housekeeping at the parents’ requests including cooking, some laundry, light dusting, etc. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am compassionate, humanitarian, calm, pleasant and determined. Activities that I would like to incorporate into the daily plan for the family I care for would include exercise/working out, reading, dancing, play time, cooking, etc. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be fair parents who believe that while children must be disciplined, it is not through physical means. The family will be close knit and understand that the fighting force behind all is, in fact, your family. I would also hope that the family would be very active, fun and welcoming!”
