Tyonna chose to become a Ravenna Housekeeper because her strength is supporting a busy family and their children!
“If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love working with children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over five years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are able to do anything as long as you provide them with the materials. My goal as a nanny and Ravenna Housekeeper is to provide the children with the best needs as possible. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes cleaning and washing clothes. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am loyal, funny, active, protective, and motivated. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include arts and crafts, homework, etc.”
“I have worked at the Day Care Center for the past ten years in various supervisory roles. I have served as the Executive Director for the past four years. In my career in Early Childhood Education, I have seen few young people with such natural instincts and abilities to work with children as Tyonna. She has proven to be a responsible worker with a great disposition. Her interactions with children, staff and parents are appropriate and she is eager to learn. I am so impressed with Tyonna that I have employed her as my own personal child care provider and Ravenna Housekeeper. I believe that Tyonna would make a wonderful addition to your staff and program. It is a pleasure to provide this reference.”
“Tyonna has been my son's teacher since he was 18 months old, as he will be two years old in February. Even though it doesn't seem like a long period of time, she has left such a positive impact on our entire family. She goes above and beyond on a daily basis. My son attends an Early Intervention Program in the morning. I pick him up on my lunch break and bring him to Tyonna. My son says, "Tye" the whole ride there. She is intelligent enough to realize that I am pressured for time and calms my son down if he is upset. His cot is set up and she is already making his lunch. She is very careful as my son has many allergies. She is always so happy to see him. I then pick him up around 3:15 pm with my other 4-year-old son, who has autism. She always makes a point to say hello to him. She never lets me forget anything and reminds me of everything. I would trust Tyonna in my home with my sons, with or without me present. I would feel comfortable allowing her to transport my sons in my car. I find her to be a loving, caring and responsible person and highly recommend her for the position of Ravenna Housekeeper.”
“I have known Tyonna for two years. In that time, she has impressed me with her work ethic and dedication to her family. Tyonna not only has a demanding school schedule but she runs track for her school and private team. I have observed Tyonna encouraging the younger runners. She has held after school and weekend jobs. She helped her hard-working mom with the house work and with her younger sisters. In addition, she has helped my child through some trying times by just being there as a caring peer. She also cared for my younger children. Tyonna is caring, dedicated, extremely competent, and has an excellent rapport with people of all ages. In summary, I highly recommend Tyonna for any position as a Ravenna Housekeeper that she may seek to pursue. She will be a valuable asset for any organization.”
