Debra is a Queen Anne Live Out Nanny who loves teaching children!

“I am an energetic, fun, and dynamic person. I like to keep moving and do many things throughout the day. I would describe myself as an understanding, caring, and loving Queen Anne Live OUT Nanny who is great with children and very down to earth. My favorite thing about being a nanny is getting to know new children and adapting to their individual needs as well as learning all about how they work. I especially being able to help them to learn new things and stay positive. Above all, my most favorite part is bringing the children to different activities daily, going fun places together, and doing new things with them almost every day. Being a nanny has become part of my life and is something I have great appreciation for. Being a nanny is almost like doing ten jobs at once and multitasking is something I thrive off of. There are so many aspects to being a nanny besides just watching children and leaving when their parents come home. In this profession, you get to teach the children new things, how to read and how to write, how to tie their shoes all the way up to dealing with a person at school giving them a hard time. Being there for children as someone to turn to for advice and help with life, makes my day complete. Not only that, you get to participate with them in activities, do art projects, go to the park, play games in the backyard, go for walks, go to museums and more. Motivating them to stay active and positive as well as encouraging them on a daily basis is so rewarding. Taking care of children is something I’ve been familiar with and doing since I started my first job as a teacher’s assistant at only 15. After that I realized this was something I like a lot and knew it was something I would always enjoy doing. I chose this profession over any other because it’s my first-choice profession not my second, or third, it is something I absolutely love to do and want to do. I have been serving in some form of childcare now for over 10 years. I can honestly say I absolutely love what I do! My experiences have helped me to thoroughly understand and relate to children more as the years go on. I feel that children are the greatest gift in life. They deserve to be nurtured, cared for and listened to. My goal as a nanny is to work the best I can, to adapt to any children's needs, and actively work on their strengths and improve upon their weaknesses. To always better my skills and implement new ideas. Prepare daily plans and set weekly goals with myself and the children. Have a structured daily plan and routine that the children feel comfortable with as well. Keep a journal of daily and weekly activities we've done, learning objectives and overall highlights. Make sure the children I nanny are happy, make sure the children get to decide on some things we do! Always take the children's opinions into consideration. Always maintain positivity and professionalism. I am able to do all housekeeping and cooking all that includes prep and serve meals, laundry, make beds, vacuum, clean bedroom, kitchen, etc. I actually love cleaning! If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am agreeable, patient, positive, caring and adaptable. The activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include going to the park, taking a walk, bike rides, dancing, games, homework, learning objectives, reading books and doing art projects. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me, I would hope they would be an outgoing, energetic, happy and loving family with a zest and enthusiasm for life!”
“Debra was a phenomenal Queen Anne Live OUT Nanny for our family! She constantly displayed high integrity and honesty in all she did and was quite dependable. She was responsive to the family’s needs whenever changes needed to be made and was also flexible; she was there for us whenever we needed her. She was also more than willing to take on additional responsibilities when needed. To add, she also made sure to keep an open line of communication, so we were always on the same page. I would recommend her to any family without reservation, as she would be an asset to them. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.”
“My wife and I employed Debra to provide childcare for our children. Her duties included receiving my children off the school bus, insuring their homework was completed, and study for any tests and to make sure all other school related work was done. Debra also was very helpful in driving my children to any after school activities. This included soccer practice, CCD classes and play dates with friends. Debra is also an energetic person and is the perfect person to keep your children active. Debra took numerous bike rides with my children that lasted for over an hour. She took them to parks, played soccer, played basketball and even danced with them. Debra keeps herself very fit and will have no problem making sure your child is always on the move. Most of all she made it fun for them and they always looked forward to what Debra had in mind next. Debra was very reliable and was always willing to work when needed. Early dismissal, snow days, holidays and even over the Christmas break. She was always ready to do what we needed her to do. I highly encourage you to consider Debra for employment as a Queen Anne Live OUT Nanny with your family.”
“I've had the pleasure of working closely with Debra this past summer at camps and believe that she would be a fantastic Queen Anne Live OUT Nanny. I observed Debra working with children all day long ranging from ages 3 - 14 years old. Debra was always welcoming to the children and made sure that her activities were age appropriate and that the children were having fun. If there were children not engaging in the activity, Debra would make it a point to personally involve herself engaging with that child to make sure their experience was a good one. Children would come out of their way to greet Debra daily and show her new things that they made up and even ask where she was if she had stepped away from the area. In all my years working with children, I have rarely seen that kind of connection that was instantly made with Debra and the kids. The younger children would always greet her with hugs, smiles and excitement when it was time for her activity and I could always count on Debra for help with my area if needed.”
“Debra is a caring, intelligent young woman who connects exceptionally well with children. She is a highly qualified Queen Anne Live OUT Nanny; sensitive to individual needs, responsible, approachable, and a good communicator. She is a serious, hard worker who constantly strives to bring out the best in both herself and the children in her charge. I had the pleasure of supervising Debra, where she exceeded expectations as our camp’s dance specialist for approximately 800 children, ages 3 - 14. She was instantly well-regarded by the campers, their teenage counselors, and especially the senior staff, who work hard to ensure a high level of standard. Debra learned names quickly and forged meaningful, positive relationships with kids as if she’d known them for years. She consistently demonstrated that safety was a number one priority. She built and maintained a high level of trust, distinguishing herself as an invaluable staff member. Debra lesson plans were detailed, thoughtful and creative. She didn’t just “do” her job; she embraced it. She showed humility and growth over the course of the summer, as she actively welcomed constructive feedback. She has excellent pedagogical instincts, and her skills are sharp due to her teaching experience. Her work ethic and strong value system, coupled with her warmth and clear love of children, makes her outstanding in her field. I most enthusiastically recommend Debra!”
“I believe Debra to be honest, hardworking, trustworthy and responsible. Since I know her family, including parents, grandparents, uncle and aunt, I can say she was brought up in a loving environment with good values and strong morals. While Debra is practical and realistic, she has an empathetic nature towards others. She sees the humor and pathos in the human condition, so she isn't hardened by the world around her. Because she possesses that balance, she would be wonderful with children. I believe Debra would be an excellent hire as a Queen Anne Live OUT Nanny.”
