I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over seven years and can honestly say I love and appreciate what I do! I feel the children are special in so many different ways regardless of their upbringing, nationality, or religion. My goal as a nanny is to help shape and form a child into someone who loves life and looks forward to learning and growing. A child who feels free to express his/herself and can always learn something new from others. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, light house cleaning, and preparing meals. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am funny, outgoing, joyful, optimistic, and creative. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include favorite game time, (Word challenge kick off) depending on grade level, art such as drawing, painting, outdoor observation, and photography. I would also like to incorporate homework assistance, bedtime stories, as well as reading in general. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be outgoing, as well as friendly, understanding, and compassionate.”
