“I am a very friendly and easy-going person who loves caring for children. I am the oldest of five children and have always had a nurturing personality. I have worked with children for many years. After graduating from college, I was a substitute preschool teacher for six months. I have also been a nanny for 3 years. I love being a nanny with the Pierce County, WA Nanny Agency because I really enjoy the opportunity to take care of a small number of children at a time. I feel that I am able to give so much more focus to their well-being and happiness. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I enjoy the one-on-one interaction that you simply cannot find working in a classroom or daycare. I can honestly say I love what I do! Young children are so exciting to be around and work with. They are discovering new things every day. My goal as a nanny is to help children to grow and learn as much as they can while I am working with them. I am able to do housekeeping that includes children's laundry, dishes, tidying up children's rooms. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am empathetic, compassionate, nurturing, private, and outgoing. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include arts and crafts, dancing, music, and reading. I have a passion and talent for music. I love to sing, and I love bringing music into children's lives. I also enjoy outdoor time when the weather is nice. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be a family who loves the arts, music and reading!”
“I felt very comfortable leaving my children with a nanny from the Pierce County, WA Nanny Agency. I felt that I could trust Larissa to provide a safe environment and to be responsible. She was always very professional. I appreciated Larissa’s kind and gentle manner which put the children at ease. My kids loved her!”
“Yes, absolutely! We needed someone from the Pierce County, WA Nanny Agency to watch our twin infants. We wanted someone energetic and interactive, who would nurture our daughters and also provide them with lots of stimulation (playing, reading, singing, going outside). Larissa has done all these things and more. It is so sweet when she sings to them and talks to them and they smile and laugh. She has transitioned them from cat-napping in their bouncers to napping in their cribs. Also, one of our daughters is in physical therapy and needs to do stretches and exercises throughout the day. Larissa does these stretches and has worked really hard to help both children to progress in their gross motor skills. She has been very willing to try all the new exercises with them. She regularly does their laundry (almost daily with twins), straightens up their play space, and loads their bottles and dishes into the dishwasher. I am so thankful that we were able to hire Larissa to care for our daughters. She is very reliable, and flexible if I’m running a little late or need to change her hours for special appointments or work commitments. The most important thing to me is how much my daughters like her and how happy and well cared for they are. It is also awesome to have her help in figuring out naps, physical therapy, eating, and those sorts of things. She has been wonderful in keeping them learning and developing, while also keeping them happy, well fed and well rested.”
“Larissa has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children. Her ability to connect with our son and her talent at teaching him simple concepts, as well as more advanced words and skills, are both truly superior. Larissa is incredibly patient, and she has helped foster our son’s love of reading. Larissa can work independently and is able to follow through to ensure that the job gets done. She accomplishes daily tasks with great initiative and with a very positive attitude, and would often go above and beyond my expectations of the Pierce County, WA Nanny Agency. It is my sincere pleasure to recommend Larissa. Larissa has worked for me for nearly two years as a nanny for my son, and she has been excellent in all aspects of the position. We could not have found a better person to help raise our son while we were away.”
“Larissa has been involved with my family for many years. She started babysitting for our children when they were young and continued for many years! I have also worked at the same school as her; she worked with Pre-K at that time. I believe Larissa to be an asset to the Pierce County, WA Nanny Agency! My husband and I are fortunate to have met such an honest young lady to work for our family. It has been a pleasure, and I believe Larissa to be a great nanny for any family!”
“Larissa is highly qualified and comes highly recommended by the Pierce County, WA Nanny Agency for a job as a nanny. Knowing that she has been a nanny in the past and seeing how she cared for those kids, I am highly recommending her for this position. Her compassion and care for children is amazing. She has also worked in her church nursery where I saw her abilities first hand with my children. She has a very sweet spirit and presence about her which made my children feel comfortable even while going through the challenge of separation anxiety. On a regular basis I worked with her in the nursery and saw her skills first hand with all ages. It would be a loss to your company to not consider Larissa for hire.”
