“My name is Ashley and I absolutely adore children! Growing up, my mother ran an in-home daycare, so I previously assisted there on and off throughout my years in high school. I am now a Lead Teacher at a daycare for the infant wing, and before this I worked at another location as the Lead Teacher of the toddler wing. In the past I have also worked professionally at another in-home daycare with infants and toddlers. I love to teach the children and watch them grow; to me it is a very rewarding experience. The main reason I am seeking a nanny position is because although I love working here, I greatly would like the opportunity to care for a child or children more one-on-one and help them reach their milestones. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include educational activities (numbers, letters, songs, colors, etc.), assisting with gross motor activities (playing outside, dancing, sensory activities, etc.), and cooking! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be welcoming, friendly, and fun-loving!”
