“I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have experience with Nanny Agencies in Queen Anne as a nanny caring for children as early as 6 weeks to 13 years of age. Some of my duties as a nanny involves: feeding the children at the proper time and helping them take baths, maintaining personal hygiene of the children, transporting and or driving the children to and from places such as; school, playgroups, library, museums and zoo, participating in educational games and outdoor activities with the children and teaching good manners to the children. My goal as a nanny are: foster a sense of individual and group identity, teach independence and initiative, expand social skills, improve listening skills and teach the child to follow instructions effectively, teach the understanding of consequences of actions, further develop and enhance fine and gross motor skills and to develop appropriate ways of expressing emotions. I am willing to do housekeeping. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am experienced, dependable, energetic, patient and honest. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include swimming, going to the park, walks, playing outside, play dates, crafts, baking goods, going to the theater, reading, academics and local events that would interest the children! Also, any other activities that the family shows interest in. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be welcoming and personable!”
