“I am a caring and fun-loving young woman. I absolutely love children and feel as though every child is a gift that deserves to have the best start to life. My goal is to be sure to give them the support and love necessary to succeed in life. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love children. It is so rewarding to see children grow and flourish knowing that you had a part in that process makes it even more special. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 9 years and can honestly say I LOVE what I do! I feel the children are gifts that deserve to be cherished and encouraged to grow. I am willing to do housekeeping at request that includes cleaning dishes, preparing meals, and helping with the laundry. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am energetic, kind, loving, caring, and fun. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include learning activities, arts and crafts, outside playtime, and age-appropriate games. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking Nannies in Thurston County WA like me I would hope they would be kind and caring.”
“I have known Sara for the past six years. She is my coworker and childcare provider for my two children. Sara is organized, dependable, and reliable and has always fulfilled her duties competently and with enthusiasm. She has proved to be both willing and flexible and she is always prepared to help out when needed. Her communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent. In summary, I highly recommend Sara for any position that she may seek to pursue. Sara will be a valuable asset for any organization providing Nannies in Thurston County WA.”
“My husband and I have known Sara for the past seven years as a preschool teacher for both of our boys. They both love Sara and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her through the years. She has even been to our home to care for them as well and never hesitates to offer the help if we needed it along the way. Sara is bright, reliable and responsible, she is well versed in child development and has a well-rounded background given her job responsibilities at the current preschool setting that she works. She does well with time management and is knowledgeable of preschool activities and curriculum. Sara enjoys children and can be creative when it comes to the differing personalities of toddlers and preschoolers. When we had our younger son, we started looking at childcare settings when he was two. It was such relief to see a familiar face when we walked into that building! We hadn't seen her in some time since our older son had moved on to elementary school and knowing that Sara would be the one that would end up being our little one's teacher when he turned three confirmed our decision to choose the one we did. We feel fortunate to have known Sara and as she moves on to working with other Nannies in Thurston County WA, we will truly miss her. We are convinced that she will do well and confident in saying that our children owe much of their positive development to having her in their lives.”
“Sara fulfilled all my requirements and expectations as my son’s teacher. She is a kind-hearted and very nurturing person. I have had to experience of knowing Sara through her work and services she provided at the academy. Sara went above and beyond her responsibilities of a teacher, in my opinion. She made sure my son was able to independently write his first and last name, in addition to writing all the letters of the alphabet by the end of the school year. He has also has shown a heightened his interest in reading. He comes home on a daily basis requesting more books to read. He is currently on a first-grade level at still three years of age. You will not be disappointed if you choose to hire Sara over other Nannies in Thurston County WA!”
“Nearly three years ago, I met Sara when I first dropped off my son to her classroom. It was my first experience having someone, not immediate family, watch over him. Besides being a complete wreck, I was nervous and apprehensive since I never had to deal with this situation before. She was calm, supportive, helpful, and welcomed my son into her classroom with an open heart. That year my son soared. He mastered potty training (this was something we were struggling with at home) and he was so proud of his accomplishment. The time spent with him, the praise she offered, and the gentle guidance, made a world of a difference for him. That year he learned his days of the week, started his colors, his ABC's, sharing with others, and how to sit quietly for short periods of time, the structure of her classroom was the perfect combination of hands-on learning and play that allowed inquisitive minds to absorb everything around them. The next year, I was beyond thrilled when I found Sara's classroom changed and my son would have the privilege of her teaching again. He was excited too. Apparently, he and Sara hit it off pretty well and she had enough authority to make him listen, but he still felt comfortable enough around her to be a typical four year old boy. During this year, Sara paved the way for his educational experience at school. He learned discipline, more structure, how to hold a pencil, how to use scissors, the enjoyment of arts and crafts without me yelling, "Don't make a mess!" and he had the curiosity to seek more answers; and Sara had them. Sara's classroom is always the first decorated for the holidays. She displays all of the children's work proudly, as if it was her own in her classroom for everyone to enjoy. When she reads the children stories, she makes them come to life. I see their eyes shine with wonder when she teaches them something new. Sara is kind, friendly, down-to-earth, intelligent, and approachable. No topic is "off the table" and she always finds the time to talk to you about something particularly important. Sara is a true asset to every classroom. The children thrive, parents love her, she works well with everyone, and she is flexible. Anyone who would pass up an opportunity to have Sara as a teacher would miss out on the most sincere and fantastic Nannies in Thurston County WA I know.”
“Sara has been an employee of our academy for almost six years. Our academy is a day care, pre-school business that cares for over 150 children each day. Sara began as a teaching assistant and quickly became a lead teacher based on her exceptional organizational skills, her love of children, and her communication skills, especially with parents. Sara is invaluable also as an office manager in the morning hours before her classroom responsibilities begin. Sara greets parents and children, handles phone calls leaving detailed messages, coordinates staffing changes, and assists with bookkeeping. Sara accomplishes these tasks with a huge smile all day long! Sara's smile is a reflection of her happiness, which is felt by clients and co-workers, with whom she comes in contact with each day. Our clients always mention how warm and welcomed Sara makes them feel. We will experience a huge loss with Sara leaving to re-locate. My loss may be your gain. If you decide to hire Sara over other Nannies in Thurston County WA, you will be getting a loyal, dependable, hard-working individual who is always eager to take on more responsibility. Sara is a self-starter and always sees a task through to completion.”
“It is my sincere pleasure to recommend Sara. She is a mature, caring young woman. She is highly qualified and would be a great candidate over all other Nannies in Thurston County WA. I have known Sara for over 1 year. Sara currently is employed as the head teacher for the 3-year-old classroom, in which my son is enrolled. She is organized, efficient and communicates effectively with parents and children. She is nurturing and caring to each and every child. Sara ensures that every student feels welcome into her classroom while at the same time sets clear expectations and goals for her students. Sara conducts herself in a professional manner. Her presentation at back to school night was informative and age appropriate. She reassured parents that their children were well taken care of and following a well-planned curriculum. I was amazed that my 3-year-old was able to memorize and recite the "Pledge of Allegiance," make decisions regarding a daily lunch choice, and account for his own attendance every day. Sara model’s appropriate behavior and the students imitate her and look up to her. As a high school teacher, I am very aware of the time and commitment Sara makes over and above her job requirements. Her classroom is welcoming and displays student work, as well as aspects of the 3-year-old curriculum including letters, colors, shapes, and days of the week. She completes a daily report for each student indicating what he/she learned, what he/she ate, length of time of a nap, and any other special concerns. Whenever I pick up my son, all of his things are ready to go home and neatly organized in his cubby with any correspondence from Sara. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my son in the care of Sara. She has even come to my home to babysit my 2 children. She is trustworthy and perfectly able to care for any age child. Any specific concerns that I have with my child, Sara always accommodates. Sara is both responsible and reliable. The owner of the center entrusts her to open the facility several mornings a week. She must deactivate the alarm and allow parents to enter through the secure door. She has donated many hours of her time for special events including a Fall Festival, Holiday Caroling Concert, Back to School Night, and Annual Book Fairs. Sara would be a great addition to any work place. She will be greatly missed and difficult to replace. I give her both my personal and professional recommendation.”
