“I would describe myself as a very positive and energetic person, who is also encouraging, outgoing, cheerful, nurturing, and sincere. I find children to be amazing and there is never a dull moment with them! My goal in being employed as a nanny is to work with children in an exciting and fulfilling way. I feel that having a positive impact on a child’s life is one of the most rewarding life experiences. I believe this so profoundly that I have been serving in some form of childcare for the past 15 years. Previously, I served as a nanny for a family in Hawaii. After having this wonderful experience, I decided to come back to home to be closer to family and be present as my younger brothers grew up—they are now 15 and 17. Recently, Jamie spent several evenings building a worm farm with my older daughter. She will take the time and initiative to do projects that are of interest to the child. On other occasions, she has played board games and dress up with Alyssa. If we ask her to help or play, she is always game. We know from experience that Jamie has the personality, skills, and experience to be a great playmate and caregiver, and we truly appreciate sharing time with her as a family.”
