Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include playing outside, and going to parks, museums, and the zoo. One of the more difficult moments of the day for many children (and mothers) is the departure with all the hustle and bustle of the morning activities. She often took the time to reassure me too, sometimes calling at work on a particularly bad morning to reassure me things were fine. During the day, Teresa would not impose a schedule or routine unnecessarily on my children but instead was very accommodating and focused on their needs based on what was going on in their life. If they were up late the night before and wanted to take an early nap that was fine. If they were well rested and wanted stay up longer that was fine. If they were sick and just wanted to be held all day, Teresa made that work too. Safety was always one my big concerns and Teresa made sure my children could explore the world freely under her watchful eye. I never worried about their safety while I was at work. At the end of the day Teresa was great in providing daily reports on the basics like their meals and naps but also their challenges, successes, and little stories that would allow me to share their experiences when I could not be there. Teresa was an excellent and reliable Mercer Island Household Manager. She rarely called out sick and was very flexible in changing days or hours to accommodate my changing schedule. Any time she had personal appointments or vacation they were always communicated well in advance to allow for proper planning. I enthusiastically recommend Teresa as a Nanny to any family! She is just one of those people in this world that love taking care of children!”
