“I am a fun loving person who greatly cares for children! I love to be there for kids when they need me and just do things with them. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love being around children and being there for them when they need me. I have been serving in some form of childcare for over 10 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are fun, loving and uplifting. My goal as a Nanny is to raise the children with the same love and caring that they would expect from someone in the family. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes dishes, laundry, light cooking and cleaning. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am fun, loving, caring, excited and dependable. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include playtime, outside playtime, different crafts, stories and music/dancing. We hired her for my husband’s 50th birthday party, which involved her traveling with us 2 hours one way; watching, feeding, and entertaining the children throughout the long party; and chasing them around the airport for a few hours, as we had a rendezvous there also. She never complained and helped make the 12-hour day the positive experience that it was! She also helped me a lot last year with my children as I was going through chemotherapy. She gamely helped in whatever way she could, which mostly included vigorous outside entertainment from around 12 noon to 4pm each day. She is also trustworthy. She is involved in a range of local activities, and has traveled extensively both with her family and to out of state camps. She is from a supportive family environment, and they have raised her to be an employee with stalwart ethics.”

Her responsibilities have included being Lead Teacher for a class of 3-5 year olds, as well as working with the school age children, ranging in age from 6-11 years old.
