“I’m a dedicated lifetime teacher who understands the psychology of children and young adults of all age groups. My life has revolved around the studying and practicing of the best techniques to use when teaching and interacting with children and young adults. I am knowledgeable of the psychologies and developmental considerations of childhood and adult life cycles. I believe that all children and adults have the ability to learn, develop, and grow if placed in a nurturing environment that recognizes each person as an individual and allows for their individual needs. Additionally, I feel it is the responsibility of teachers to make every reasonable effort to identify and meet those individual needs. My focus and goals are to challenge my students to achieve levels of success they may initially believe are beyond their abilities. For this to happen a classroom must offer a creative, supportive, and interesting environment that makes learning an enjoyable and desirable experience. To aid in the accomplishment of this task I design interesting lessons that work within the curricula for the grade level and the guidelines of the educational environmental. A good teacher must have strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to work with diverse groups of people. Teachers who respect each student for the individual they are will interact more successfully with their students. Teachers that communicate well with parents will have greater support from those parents and also a better insight into their student’s individual personalities. Support on all levels is gained through good communication practices, open mindedness, flexibility and understanding. I am fluent in the speaking, reading and writing of both the Russian and Ukraine languages. I have been a teacher of children and adult students of all ages ranging from preschool age to young adults. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be a Magnolia Governess over any other profession, it would have to be because I enjoy working with children all ages. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 8 years and can honestly say I like what I do! I feel the children are the future and need a nanny that will help them prepare for the future. I also believe children are interesting and fun to work with. My goal as a nanny is to help further their education and build them to grow up and become strong, smart, individuals. I would also like to create a safe and educational environment for the children. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am loyal, hardworking, cooperative, creative, and efficient. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include taking them outside, doing homework with them and any other daily activities the parents normally do with the children. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope the family has a clean house, friendly pets (if they have any), are friendly people.”
