“I am a young energetic, go-getter. I am honest, dependable, and trust worthy. I grew up in a very large family. My mother is one of eight, I am one of four, I am constantly around children, and I love it. There is no greater feeling that seeing a child grow up, and knowing that you helped shaped their lives in one way or another. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because currently I am a waitress at a small restaurant and it is not what I want to do. I want to wake up in the mornings and go to a job that I can enjoy. Leave at the end of the end of the day and say that I feel accomplished, or that I made a difference and in being a nanny, watching over a young life and knowing that you are making sure another life is safe and having fun is making a difference. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 3 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are inspirational. Children inspire you to always to better and be happy. No matter how big and bad you are, if a child hands you a toy phone you will always pick it up and answer it!!! This is so true… If you are having a bad day, they make you smile, if your trip and fall they always be there for you. My goal as a nanny is to make sure that the child is constantly in a safe yet fun environment. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes vacuuming, laundry, dishes, etc., whatever needs to be done. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives, I would say that I am energetic, dependable, trustworthy, personable, and responsible. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include reading, tummy time, nap time, snack time, walks, whatever you would like, (I’m very flexible). If asked to describe the perfect family seeking Kitsap County, WA Nannies like me I would hope they would be easy going but care about their child more than anything in the world. I do not have my own children yet, but I know it wouldn’t be easy to let just anyone watch them.”
