Atenas chose to become a Kitsap County Summer Nanny to make a positive impact on children!
|
“I have a passion for children. I am highly energetic, and I have a positive attitude. I speak fluent English and Spanish and little sign language. I want to be a Kitsap County Summer Nanny because I love interacting with children. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I worked in a pre-school and I loved my job. Being a nanny is the best way to continue working with children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 5 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are incredible little people who can teach you so much with their individual personalities. You can learn more from them than you can teach. They are extremely smart, sweet, and loving. My goal as a nanny is to be a part of a child's life and be remembered by the child. I want to know that I made a difference in a child's life and family by not only caring for them but also teaching them in every way possible of their growth. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes child’s laundry, dishes, light cooking, and keeping the child's room and toys neat and organized. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives, I would say that I am friendly, energetic, fun, responsible, organized, and committed to everything I do. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include many outdoor activities. I would encourage lots of motor skills and fine motor skills, sensory exploration, water play, ball play, reading books, coloring, painting, and puzzles. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be friendly, confident, understandable, easy going, and trustworthy. I look forward to becoming part of your family!”
“Atenas worked as a Lead Teacher in our Infant classroom. She had been employed at our school since January 2008. Atenas is always professional and helpful. She always comes in with a smile and ready to start the day. She is committed and dedicated to her infant students. She does a great job taking care of her students and meeting their needs. Atenas possesses the personality traits, intellectual skills, and motivation that make her an outstanding employee. She is very respectful, caring and responsible. Since her employment started at our school, she has been able to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff. Her personal characteristics including patience, consideration, dedication, organization, and good judgment will help her succeed as a Kitsap County Summer Nanny.”
“In turn, Atenas has cared for each of our 3 children at various ages of their preschool life. Whether it was caring for our infant daughter and son or our older toddler son, she was always warm, compassionate, caring, and extremely professional. She has a unique way with children, always smiling and nurturing and no matter how difficult a situation, she never seems angered or impatient. Her tightest bond was with my youngest son who she cared for from 6 weeks of age and I am sure he will remember her through his adult years. Just her name brings a huge smile to his face. I can truly say I trust her unconditionally and would recommend her as a Kitsap County Summer Nanny without any reservation.”
“She watched my two children (ages 1 and 3) three times a week over the summer and it was a joy to have her as our Kitsap County Summer Nanny. Atenas always came to our home on time, cheerful and ready to engage the children with creative art, dramatic play, outside play, and other enriching activities. She is intelligent, kind and a great listener. My children love Atenas, and look forward to spending time with her. Atenas is bilingual, and my children loved and enjoyed learning Spanish with her. That said, she always followed our directions about the children (bedtimes, food, etc.) and they respect her as an authority figure and we see her as part of the family. Besides a natural affinity toward childcare, Atenas has many years of experience form a childcare facility and is First Aid and CPR certified. Hiring Atenas can assure that you will not get a teenager who lounges around watching TV while your children fend for themselves. Atenas is fun, responsible, mature, and any family that hires her has very fortunate children indeed.”
“I have known Atenas for over a decade now. We met in Middle School and have been best friends ever since. She has always been a hard-working student, with the right balance between work and education. She has always maintained a high qualified GPA and her work ethics are extraordinary. Atenas is a very helpful girl. She has always taken the time out to help others in need. She has always been that friend that is there for you in time of need. She has helped me in my worst and stood by me even when my family did not. She is very honest and a reliable friend. I cannot remember any incident in these 10 years of our friendship, where I needed her, and she failed to help. She is an extremely responsible Kitsap County Summer Nanny, who works very hard to provide for her family. She has always worked to achieve the things that she wants in life. She started working at the age of 16 and continues to strive for a better future. She is very goal oriented and focused on her career and family. She has a very friendly demeanor that everyone adores. With a caring warm-hearted personality, she would be perfect for any job in need. Her five plus year of experience with children is an example of her love for children. She is a loyal trust-worthy person that any parent would love to have around their children. I will highly recommend Atenas for this job because she has the skills needed for this position. Along with her experience, her work ethics and good-hearted personality she can be the best candidate for this position.”
Atenas is a close family friend. I have known Atenas for a little over three years and have found her to be a valuable and reliable Kitsap County Summer Nanny. Atenas has a positive attitude and is always willing to help others. She is flexible and willing to learn new concepts, and continues to expand her knowledge on a daily basis in the childcare industry. She enjoys a challenge and is able to find creative solutions. I am very impressed with Atenas’s organizational skills. She has the ability to organize her time efficiently and is self-motivated. She is very personable and empathetic, effectively working with both the teaching and support staff in our childcare district.”
