“I am a very organized and detailed person. I try to have fun everyday with my own children. I have always loved children. Whenever I go to friends’ homes, I give them a break and entertain their children. I have strong family values in which my children have been taught to be honest hard workers and care for others. I enjoy children and am able to relay on my Early Childhood Education background. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I am able to give more individualized attention to the child/children. I hope to make a difference in a child's life. I have a true passion for children and believe that they are all special and unique. My goal as a nanny is to care for children the way their parents would care for them. I am able to do light housekeeping that includes vacuuming, sweeping, dusting and straightening. I can even prep dinner if needed. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am trusting, loving, organized, helpful, and honest. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include reading, going for walks, art projects and just having fun. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Kitsap County Housekeeper like me I would hope they would be friendly and easygoing.”
“Erica began her employment as a Lead Teacher in the pre-school room. Erica brought a wealth of content knowledge to the classroom, was instrumental in achieving our goal for school readiness for children leaving the program, and introduced the children to programmatic enhancements such as the study of art, music, and drama. She was a favorite with our families, and parents often requested Erica's classroom as their children became 3. Erica was a nurturing teacher and has always been a professional in her interactions with our families. Erica was promoted to Assistant Director and excelled in that position. She is knowledgeable about developmental appropriate practices for children, and extremely dependable. We soon began to depend on her to train other Assistant Directors and she was often asked to fill the vacant position of Director while we searched for a replacement. Erica served as a Center Director as her last journey with us. I'm sure Erica missed the daily interactions with the children she loved to help grow. I highly recommend Erica as a Kitsap County Housekeeper who is extremely organized, dependable, and nurturing to the families and children in her care.”
“Erica was responsible for administration, program management and daily operation of our Early Childhood Education Center which serves 120 children from the ages of six weeks to five years. Additionally, Erica had oversight for 20 staff members. Erica brought enthusiasm to the job as a Kitsap County Housekeeper and a clear passion to for working with young children.”
“Erica is a pleasure and an asset to have as a Kitsap County Housekeeper. She quickly establishes a wonderful rapport with children of all ages. I’ve witnessed her patience and kindness while working with the children. Her quick smile and sincere enjoyment she shows is always evident to the children in her care. The parents of our children, where we were employed together, were able to establish an easy-going relationship with regard to the care and education of their children. Erica always would go above and beyond the expectations of her superiors. As a team player, having organized lesson plans and the ability to communicate to co-workers, parents, and the kids, I would highly recommend Erica to any position with regard to childcare.”
“Erica is an intelligent and honorable woman with deep commitment to family, friends, and especially children. I have watched her raise her 2 daughters from birth. She is a strong role model. She values education, and has provided them every opportunity for success. Erica has a strong work ethic, and through the years she has progressed up the ladder from child care worker to administrator with ease. With her B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education, and her deep concern about a child’s emotional, physical, social and intellectual health and development, I am confident that she would be an asset to any family looking for a trusted Kitsap County Housekeeper for their child/children.”
“Throughout the time that I have known Erica, I have formed a very positive opinion of her. Erica has always been an honest, helpful, caring, and creative Kitsap County Housekeeper who has a special knack for handling children and knowing exactly what they need at the right moment. Her anticipation of their needs and care for them when left in her very capable hands is uncanny. I admire her ability to remain in control of all situations and react with a great deal of calmness and assertiveness when events do arise. Not only do I like Erica, I also respect her greatly.”
