“I am a mature, friendly, caring person. I love working with young children. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love seeing children grow, and participating in their development through their stages in life. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over six years and can honestly say I LOVE what I do! I feel the children are in need of protection and care. My goal as a nanny is to give the child the best I have to offer to help him/her have a happy and nurturing environment in which to reach his/her full potential as a person. “I have known Ms. Ana since a few years ago. She has always been someone that has a smile on her face and extremely dedicated to her job caring for one of my neighbor’s young son. I would often see her playing with him at the playground at our complex and always friendly with everyone she comes into contact with. A few months back I lost my wallet with a significant amount of money and my credit cards but more importantly documents that could not be replaced. The fact that she used this as an opportunity to teach the child how to do the right thing and explained how important being honest and doing what is right not only speaks to her morals but also that she wants to instill those great morals in the child she was responsible to care for. After eventually finding out that she returned the wallet I tried to give her a reward but to her my heartfelt thank you was more than enough. She is truly an outstanding Kirkland Housekeeper.”
