“I am funny and super outgoing (if I do say so myself). I love running around playing games, and sports. Art is my passion, from arts and crafts, to clay sculptures, I love it all. I enjoyed volunteering in an African village as a teacher this year, so I am currently studying Early Childhood Education in college. I hope to move around the country and world teaching children with less opportunity than I had. I live with my parents, younger brother and sister, and visit frequently with my huge family of cousins, aunts and uncles. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am outgoing, smart, fun, a problem solver, and safety conscious. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include –homework -games relevant to age -activities the children enjoy (bike riding, sports, art, make-overs, LEGOs, etc.), baking or cooking, and bed time stories. I would love a family whose parents were outgoing and easy to talk to about what they want me to do with the children, as well as, my ideas for activities.”

My husband and I have known Rose since she was in elementary school. We have had the pleasure of watching Rose grow into a kind, loving, and responsible adult. “Rose was student of mine her freshman and sophomore years in high school. She was a part of my Basic Child Development class and then moved into the Child Development Nursery School, the program that integrates classroom instruction with the practical, hands-on operation of a student taught nursery school. I found that Rose really loved working with the young children. She was very good at taking principles that we learned in class and incorporating them into practical, useful methods for teaching and working with children.
