“I am funny and super outgoing (if I do say so myself). I love running around playing games, and sports. Art is my passion, from arts and crafts, to clay sculptures, I love it all. I enjoyed volunteering in an African village as a teacher this year, so I am currently studying Early Childhood Education in college. I hope to move around the country and world teaching children with less opportunity than I had. I live with my parents, younger brother and sister, and visit frequently with my huge family of cousins, aunts and uncles. I want to be a nanny because I love children and don’t want to wait until I finish school to start doing what I love. I think being a nanny would be a great way for me to work with children. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the King County, Seattle Nanny Agency over any other profession, it would have to be because I enjoy crafts, cooking, playing sports and one day it just hit me that I just loved being a child and doing fun things, so why not work with children in their home environment? As the oldest sister and my time as a teacher, I can still be firm and lay down the rules but all in all I like to have fun. I believe homework and chores can be just as fun as games. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 8 years and can honestly say I am passionate about what I do! I feel the children are the future. My goal as a Nanny is to have fun, and help the parents with anything they need. I want the parents to know I am willing to help them with what they think is important for their child. I am willing to do housekeeping at the children requests that include cooking, general cleaning. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am outgoing, smart, fun, a problem solver, and safety conscious. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include –homework -games relevant to age -activities the children enjoy (bike riding, sports, art, make-overs, LEGOs, etc.), baking or cooking, and bed time stories. I would love a family whose parents were outgoing and easy to talk to about what they want me to do with the children, as well as, my ideas for activities.”
“I have known Rose for approximately 15 years and have had the opportunity to employ her from the King County, Seattle Nanny Agency for my own children. Rose is a responsible, hardworking young woman with a creative nature which enriches those around her. Her experience abroad last year has broadened her horizons and her approach to fairness and equality in her dealings with adults and children alike. I would trust her implicitly and know that Rose would be an asset to any family. I have no doubt that she will excel as a nanny. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions.”
“My first impression of Rose was more than positive. I quickly discovered that she was far more than just someone trying to acquire a position. In short, Rose is an excellent employee and I am more than pleased to recommend her as a valuable addition to your family. More specifically, I have no hesitations about her performing well beyond the expected responsibilities. I first met Rose as an applicant for a position I posted with the King County, Seattle Nanny Agency for childcare. In regard to her employee performance, Rose is someone who I found her not only to be engaged with my children, but to be engaging as she interacts with my family and me. She enthusiastically participates in play with my children and willingly complied with all of my requests. She has proved to be a responsible caregiver as demonstrated by her willingness to ask for clarification as she needs it. In a position such as childcare, it is imperative that she display safety and responsible decisions regarding my children. She conducts herself with dignity and extends kindness to my children. I am particularly impressed with how she confirms scheduled care times and arrived on time. As a childcare provider, Rose brings with her life experience that serves (and will serve) to enhance her understanding of the importance of all aspects of her well-being and the well-being of others—be it social, emotional, physical, or spiritual. Rose is attuned to the needs of others and is certainly well suited for the profession of childcare. I have no doubt that she will succeed in making a difference both professionally and personally as she works on behalf of your family. The maturity that she would bring to your family would be readily noticeable as she is respectful, thoughtful, and self-aware. Since I am optimistic about Rose’s success as a caregiver for your family, I am pleased to recommend her. If it would be of assistance to you, I am available to offer more details regarding her qualifications.”
My husband and I have known Rose since she was in elementary school. We have had the pleasure of watching Rose grow into a kind, loving, and responsible adult. Rose has watched our children and family dogs on many occasions. Our home was always left neat, the children and dogs were happy, safe and well cared for. Rose would provide loving and safe care to any child and/or pets through the King County, Seattle Nanny Agency. She has a great love of the outdoors, children and family. Please feel free to call us with any questions.
“Rose was student of mine her freshman and sophomore years in high school. She was a part of my Basic Child Development class and then moved into the Child Development Nursery School, the program that integrates classroom instruction with the practical, hands-on operation of a student taught nursery school. I found that Rose really loved working with the young children. She was very good at taking principles that we learned in class and incorporating them into practical, useful methods for teaching and working with children. She had great rapport with the children and was able to put together some very creative and useful lessons for them. She has done a lot of child care and community service (including volunteer/teaching in Africa) over the years; that helps to demonstrate her love of working with children. Even at a younger age, I found Rose to be very teachable - willing to learn from situations in which she found herself. She has made a real effort to put herself in places and positions where she will gain experience working with children as well as insight into field of teaching. One of the biggest components that I remember in Rose that makes her a wonderful child care provider was her caring and compassionate demeanor. She had a gentle but firm approach that was obviously recognized as genuine by those around her. Not only did she play well, she was also willing to discipline the children when necessary. In closing, I think Rose would make an excellent nanny and be a definite asset to the King County, Seattle Nanny Agency.
“Rose is my younger cousin, who frequently spends time with my three-year-old son. Although Rose has never worked for me, she assists her mother when taking care of my child. At family events she is always running around playing with my son and niece. Rose is imaginative and fun, she is responsible and intelligent. I trust her with my son and believe she would be a terrific nanny for the King County, Seattle Nanny Agency.”
