Nadia has loved being a King County Mother's Helper because it has allowed her the opportunity to be a positive role-model in a young child's life.

“Growing up as the eldest child in a very large family, I gained the experience of taking care of children of all ages. Because of this experience, I realized that my nurturing, dependable, and bubbly attributes would work best in a childcare setting. My goals include fostering children and starting a low income horseback riding program for troubled youths. The reason I have chosen to be a King County Mother’s Helper over any other profession is because I love being a teacher and adore my students, however I feel individualized care provides a better setting for learning and development. I strongly believe that children should be allowed to grow and discover at their own pace! I have been serving in some form of childcare for over 10 years and can honestly say that I adore what I do! I feel children are: refreshingly open, honest, and eager to experience new things. My goal as a Nanny is to create a warm and caring environment that builds self esteem, confidence, and a love of learning. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, vacuuming, dishes, mopping, and dusting. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am maternal, devoted, dependable, animated, and determined. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include nature walks, imaginary play, fine motor activities (Legos and puzzles), and anything else that the children are interested in! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be amiable, open minded, and attentive to their childs needs and concerns.”
“Nadia went above and beyond her required duties of King County Mother’s Helper by staying late/arriving early. She gets along well with parents and the families. She has a cheerful disposition that the children love. Working with Nadia these past two years, has made my days at work more enjoyable. Knowing she is present gives me a peace of mind. She can relate with all the age groups she works with and the children have fun, but also respect and learn from her. Even though I am sad to see Nadia leave, I know that any family that she is a part of is very fortunate, she is professional, sensible and nurturing.”
“I am honored to give a recommendation on behalf of Nadia for a King County Mother’s Helper position! She does the summer camps, horseback riding lessons, and everything else that pertains to the childcare here. She has always done particularly well with the children who need a little extra attention and patience. I have watched her step up to take over some difficult lessons because she knows that is her strength. Working with children in this setting calls for some high-pressure situations! She is always alert and ready for anything. She is always there to calm a child who might have lost their balance while riding the horse. Nadia works well with both the children and parents! She is a dependable person who never loses her cool. Nadia is never late, honestly, she is always early. Working with children is definitely her calling and it comes naturally to her. Nadia’s patience is her strength because she does not shy away from difficult tasks and handles them with ease and grace. Nadia would be an excellent nanny for a family!”
“Nadia is absolutely phenomenal! She is the best King County Mother’s Helper that we have ever had and is the only person that I trust to watch my children. We have four children ages 11 years old, 9 years old, 7 years old, and 4 years old, so our hands are typically full! Nadia is always on time and ready to entertain and educate! My children love her to pieces. I think that my favorite thing about her is that she is education focused. Every activity from outdoor sports, cards, and drawing all include some type of educational lesson. My children respect Nadia and I wish she would share her secret because they listen to her more than me sometimes! She is wonderful in every aspect and able to accommodate children of all ages. I highly recommend her!”
“I have known Nadia her entire life and I cannot speak highly enough of this woman! She grew up with my daughter and I have watched her personality, work ethic, and passion come alive! I have never seen someone work so hard and juggle so many things and do it with ease! She worked 2 jobs, went to school, and taught horseback riding all at the same time and never missed a beat. She truly is an amazing girl. She has a horseback riding school and she has been so patient with each child. She loves working with the younger children, which is much more difficult! I have witnessed her working with children on many occasions ranging from one child, to an entire nursery school class! She manages all situations with poise. She is a great decision maker, focused, and she is positive! You will not be disappointed in her performance with your family. I would absolutely hire her as a King County Mother’s Helper if I had children and I know that you will be pleased, she has my highest recommendation.
“I have known Nadia for as long as I can remember, and she is an outgoing and happy person! Her bubbly personality makes her the perfect candidate for a child care position. She is patient, and everyone loves her! Nadia differentiates her relationship with children where she can be a friend that the children trust, but commands respect and authority in a way the children respond positively! I recommend her for a King County Mother’s Helper position with your family.”
