Kristin is a respected Issaquah Household Manager!

“If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be an Issaquah Household Manager, it would have to be because I have been the happiest when working with one family closely. I enjoy having the opportunity to really get to know them and encourage new and fun ways of thinking and experiencing all that life has to offer. I feel the children are my inspiration and the next generation’s inspiration. My goal as a Nanny is to inspire the children to aspire to do their best in all areas of their life. I would love to help with homework and keep them engaged and playing! I am willing to do housekeeping at request that includes homework, laundry, cooking and light cleaning. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am out-going, fun, objective, creative, and responsible. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include dramatic play, story time, puppets, nature walks (when the weather allows), arts and crafts, finger play/ songs, experiments (cause and effect) and socializing. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be relaxed and open-minded.”
“I worked with Kristin for almost a year. During our time working together, she assisted in the 18 months to three-year-old classroom. I found her to be reliable, helpful and creative when it came to the safety and wellbeing of the children. She is great at transitions, able to use songs and other means to lead the children from one activity to another. With her background, she has an extensive library of creative activities to keep the children entertained and engrossed in learning. Kristin is willing to help with anything. She will go many lengths to keep children protected and safeguarded. Kristin has a genuine love for children! She does her best to help children learn and grow to become well rounded individuals. I highly recommend her for a position as an Issaquah Household Manager!”
“Kristin was employed as an Issaquah Household Manager for us and remains a nanny for us through today. Kristin is responsible, creative, caring and energetic. During her care for our two children she always took the initiative to do more with them. Our youngest child has special needs and Kristin is a "natural" with her. She knows how to draw the boundaries, how to redirect when necessary and most of all she knows how to make it all fun. Kristin is dependable. She has made-herself available with very short notice to help us out and shows up on time. My children are a bit older now and we only need part-time care, or we would hire her back on the spot. I definitely recommend her to another family without hesitation.”
“Over the past year I have had an opportunity to work alongside Kristin in a Toddler class at a corporate-based Child Development Center. I have over 16 years’ experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, and have been the Lead Teacher in my current class for over 6 years. Kristin began as "floater teacher", moving between 3 Toddler rooms to cover teacher planning and ratio requirements. She was responsible for carrying out the teacher's planned activities for the day, such as language activities, art and sensory exploration, child supervision and behavior redirection as needed. In addition, she carried out the responsibility of serving meals and providing personal care for each child in her care. After several months she was assigned to support an Infant class due to short staffing at that time. When an Assistant Teacher position became available in my class, Kristin stepped into that position easily. As Assistant Teacher, Kristin was responsible for a specific group of children in her care. She developed a partnership with our parents, maintaining daily contact and input both verbally and on written daily experience sheets for each child. She carried out the day's lesson plan with ease, directing the children through the various activities, and maintained attention to their comfort and safety. She quickly developed a personal connection with all the children in our class, and earned their trust to provide a feeling of security in their parent's absence during the day. Kristin provided input for portfolio documentation, as well as the development of lesson planning specific to our age-group and the children's interests. Recently I had a family emergency and was unexpectedly absent for over a week, but I had full confidence in Kristin's ability to maintain the continuity of our class without any prior preparation. Kristin is a kind and caring person who shares the love of teaching children. The children were excited to see her come in each day, and she shared the joy and pride in their personal growth. She made an impact on their daily lives, giving them a lap to land in, a hug to make them feel better, and a high-5 for achievements! Parents felt comfortable leaving their child in Kristin's care at morning drop off, and many of them asked Kristin to care for their children outside of the professional week. I would be happy to recommend Kristin as a caregiver and teacher for any position she considers in the future. I really do think an Issaquah Household Manager position would be just perfect for her!”
