“I love to be around children. I’ve been a nanny to my three nieces since birth. I have an abundant amount of energy being that I am a physical instructor. I love to read books. I’ve taught all three of my nieces the alphabet and numbers 1-20 at the age of two years. I also enjoy cooking healthy meals every day. My goal each day is to challenge myself and work diligently. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love what I do and I enjoy seeing the children learn. I’m a very patient person. I take the time to do things right the first time. In my past professions I’ve taken care of sick patients. Some of my patients were small children. My sisters will tell you that I am a great nanny to my nieces. I keep control over all their actions. The reason why I enjoy being a nanny over another profession is because children need a positive role model. I feel that I am a positive role model and at the same time take care of their everyday needs. I have been serving in childcare for over nine years and can honestly say I extremely love what I do! I feel the children are intelligent, helpful, caring, inquisitive, cheerful, energetic, and interested in anything they can learn about. My goal as a nanny is to make my children learn and to give them proper care. I am willing to do including cleaning, cooking, organizing and vacuuming. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am positive, reliable, energetic, responsible and caring. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include reading, writing, physical activities, recreational activities, arts and crafts and preparing meals.
