“I was a teacher for 3 years, teaching band to grades 4-12. I was also an aid in the kindergarten room during that time. I really want to work with younger children. I am energetic and love to play and run with the kids. I have two toddler nieces and I absolutely love to watch them. I believe my caring and playful personality will match perfectly with a career as a nanny. Being an Everett After School Nanny interests me because I can really get to know and love the child or children on a deeper level as I will be spending more one on one time with the children than I would as a teacher in a room of 15 or more at a time. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 3 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are gifts that have their own little awesome personalities. They also have their own likes and dislikes as much as adults have. My goal as a Nanny is to raise the children with love and as much fun as possible. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am caring, organized, fun, happy, and artistic. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include crafting and painting, so I would try to incorporate some creative time. I would also try to have outside play time as much as weather permits. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope the family has a good sense of humor and enjoys life.”
