Amanda loves being a Bellevue, WA Nanny because she understands the nature of caring for children!

“I’m incredibly out-going, caring, energetic and happy! I love kids! I have a six-year-old daughter whom I adore! I love being creative, doing crafts, and being out-doors! I am very calm in situations with children and think it is so important to play, create and teach children through making learning fun! If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be a Bellevue, WA Nanny over any other profession, it would have to be because I love being creative and teaching/caring for children! I’ve been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 4 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel that children are special and should be encouraged and praised! My goal as a Nanny is to create a great learning environment for children and families! I’ll do laundry, cooking, cleaning! I’m sociable, creative, cheerful, considerate, and active! Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include circle time in the morning; book reading, weather/months/days of the week, songs etc. Daily crafts, tumbling and/or outside activities! I’d love to Nanny for a family that is fun, loving, out-going, and supportive!”
“She was my son’s daycare teacher for approximately two years. My son is - let’s just say - a “spirited” individual that tended to be slightly moody in the mornings. Knowing this She not only made sure that she was the teacher present each morning when he arrived, but that she had special activities that catered to his likes and skill level. In addition, Amanda would go the extra step of letting me know when she would be absent so that I could prepare my son for the change in the morning. As mom or teacher of any toddler, we can all agree that any deviation from routine is not easy to cope with. By keeping me up to date with any changes in her schedule this showed how much she truly cared about our son both inside and outside office hours. While in her class I not only watched son grow, but watched him form a wonderful relationship with an amazing teacher. Although I am sad that she’s still not his teacher, I know that she will add much value to any Bellevue, WA Nanny position she is next taking. Again, she’s an amazing teacher and child care provider.”
“I have known her since 2012, when my son first started attending daycare. We were a bit leery about moving our son from an in-home daycare at the time, but our concerns quickly disappeared once we met her. She was always so pleasant and upbeat, not just with the children, but also with the parents. I think this is important to work well with all ages. She always kept us informed of any upcoming events, issues that may have occurred with our son, etc. I was sad the day Sam moved up to the older class as Miss Amanda was always a pleasure to work with. We also easily became friends because her daughter was the same age as our son and they would always move up to the next class together. I could tell that she was well liked by her peers. I would recommend her in a heartbeat as a Bellevue, WA Nanny to any prospective employers.”
“I’ve known Amanda for about 3 years. My son attended day care where Amanda was his teacher for two years. While at the childcare center, the children are placed in rooms based on their ages. My son moved into Amanda's room in the fall when he was a year and a half. Amanda helped make his transition go as smooth as possible. My son enjoyed her classroom and was always excited when he would arrive. Amanda always greeted him with a smile and a warm welcome. During this time, he learned so much from her. His last year at the day care, Amanda became his teacher again. This helped him with understanding the expectations. He was comfortable with her and was very motivated to do well. Amanda is very creative and encouraged the students to bring out their ideas. She made my son's experience very pleasant, knowledgeable, and most of all, fun. I feel that Amanda would be a major asset to your family as a Bellevue, WA Nanny. The love, care, and respect she has for her student’s shows in the classroom. She also has good communication skills with parents. I felt at ease knowing that my son was in a safe learning environment.”
