During the screening process, ABC Nanny Source recruiters and Placement Counselors ask a series of questions to ensure acceptance into the Agency for representation. Here are a few examples of the inquiries posed by the recruiters and counselors to the candidates.
1. What motivated you to select a career as a nanny instead of pursuing other childcare-related positions in schools or daycare facilities?
2. When it comes to working with children, which age group do you consider yourself most at ease with?
3. What are your thoughts and perspectives on the subject of discipline?
4. In your personal perspective, could you please explain to me what, in your own words, you believe characterizes an exceptional nanny?
5. If you came across any inquiries pertaining to the description of a family role, how would you address them? Would you make an effort to clarify any doubts prior to accepting the position, or would you simply hope for the best post-acceptance?
6. Incorporating a variety of educational and play-based activities, what types of enriching experiences would you include in the daily plan?
7. Are you familiar with the communication style typically used by the families you have previously worked with? Will you be maintaining a daily events journal to update us on the occurrences throughout the day?
8. Do you consider yourself to be a dependable caregiver?
9. When it comes to assessing your most exceptional quality, what would you say sets you apart from others? On the other hand, what areas do you feel require improvement from your end?
