During the screening process for representation by ABC Nanny Source, recruiters and Placement Counselors pose several questions. Here are some of them that are asked to be accepted by the Agency.
1. What prompted you to select the profession of being a nanny instead of pursuing other childcare opportunities within a school or daycare setting?
2. Which age group of children do you feel most at ease working with?
3. What are your thoughts and perspectives on the topic of discipline? What ideas and viewpoints do you have in terms of maintaining and instilling discipline in individuals?
4. In your own words, please articulate your perception of what characterizes an exceptional nanny.
5. If you encounter any inquiries concerning the family position's description, how would you go about addressing them? Do you opt to clarify any doubts prior to accepting the role, or do you rely on hope and uncertainty afterwards?
6. Incorporating a variety of activities, both educational and play-based, into the daily plan is vital. What types of activities, both educational and play, would you envision including in the daily schedule?
7. In your previous experiences, what type of communication style have you typically utilized when working with families? Additionally, are you planning to maintain a daily events journal as a means to keep us updated on the activities that unfold throughout the day?
8. When asked about your caregiving skills, would you say that you are a reliable and trustworthy caregiver?
9. What is your most outstanding attribute in your opinion? What do you believe is an area that requires improvement for you?
