Some Questions that ABC Nanny Source asks ND Nannies!

During the screening process for representation by ABC Nanny Source, recruiters and Placement Counselors pose several questions to applicants. Here are some of the questions that are asked by the Agency to determine acceptance.

1. Why did you opt for a career in the nanny profession rather than pursuing other childcare-related roles in a school or daycare setting?

2. In terms of the age group of children, which age range makes you feel the most at ease when working with them?

3. What are your thoughts and perspectives on discipline? Tell me about your ideas and viewpoints in regards to discipline.

4. Can you please express in your own words what you believe characterizes an exceptional nanny?

5. If you encountered any inquiries concerning the family position description, how would you approach the situation? Would you opt to clarify any uncertainties before committing to the position, or would you leave it to chance?

6. What types of activities, whether educational or playful, do you envision incorporating into the daily schedule?

7. Are you familiar with the preferred communication style of the families you have previously worked for? Will you be maintaining a daily events journal to provide us with regular updates about the day's activities?

8. Can you confidently say that you embody the qualities of a reliable caregiver?

9. What is your most outstanding attribute in your opinion? Is there anything specific that you feel you need to work on?

10. Do you have any queries or concerns about our agency and how we handle the process? What specific questions come to mind regarding our agency and the process we follow?
