During the screening process to be accepted by the Agency for representation, ABC Nanny Source recruiters and Placement Counselors pose the following questions: Here are some of the questions that are asked.
1. Why did you opt for a career as a nanny instead of pursuing other childcare opportunities in a school or daycare setting?
2. What age group of children do you find yourself most at ease working with?
3. What are your thoughts and perspectives when it comes to the matter of discipline?
4. Please explain what, according to you, characterizes an exceptional nanny.
5. If you encountered any inquiries concerning the family position description, how would you go about addressing them? Will you proactively seek clarification before agreeing to the role, or will you rely on your optimism and deal with any uncertainties later on?
6. Incorporating a diverse range of activities into the daily plan is crucial. One aspect to consider is exploring various educational and play-based options. What types of activities, whether academic or recreational, would you envision integrating into the daily routine?
7. Have you developed a preferred communication approach during your previous experiences with the families you have worked for? Will you continue the practice of maintaining a daily events journal to keep us updated on the day's occurrences?
8. Are you someone who would classify themselves as a dependable caregiver?
9. If I were to ask you, what do you consider your most exceptional quality? And, on the other hand, what areas do you believe require improvement?
