Answers You Must Know About Our Nanny Services in MI!
When comparing nanny services in MI, we recommend asking these questions!
Is it a requirement that all candidates accepted have their identity professionally verified prior to being accepted by the agency?
There are numerous agencies that do not even require any type of identity verification. Among those that do, they are usually very limited in scope and only provide a superficial level of security. ABC Nanny Source feels this is a vital part of the screening process and we would never even consider sending someone to your home that we have not fully screened and verified their identity using the most stringent means possible.
Is it standard policy that your agency completes all background clearances on the candidates accepted before being presented to us?
Unfortunately many agencies make it a practice to do clearances only after you have decided on whom you would like to hire. ABC Nanny Source does all national background clearances and driving reports before their profiles are sent to you. It’s unimaginable that someone could be sent to your home without first verifying their criminal history!
Is it a standard policy that your agency requires all candidates pass a drug test before being accepted as an ABC Nanny?
Each and every candidate is required to submit to a drug test administered through Quest Diagnostics to even get to the next step of the interviewing process. There are never any exceptions to the safety of our ABC children. This is policy for your family safety.
Is it safe to say that everyone you will send to us for consideration is legally allowed to work in the United States?
Prior to acceptance, ABC Nanny Source will verify the candidates history through a Social Security Verification Trace.
Is it standard policy that your agency requests a vehicle registration in order to show that they have a reliable means of transportation to your home?
ABC Nanny Source obtains vehicle registrations from our nannies as proof that they have a reliable means of transportation to your home. We feel this is an important step in the screening and placement process. Many times a nanny will say that she has a car, but upon further prompting we find out that isn't the case at all; rather she is dependant on someone else getting her to your home in a timely manner.
What requirements are in place in regard to certifications for your nannies?
ABC Nanny Source insists that ALL nannies are currently CPR Certified before they are offered as candidates to any of our families.
How does your agency guarantee work?
You may be shocked to find out that some agencies offer a "prorated" guarantee, which really means your family would need to pay another placement fee to have your nanny replaced if things didn't work out. All placements, whether full time or part time, come automatically with a full ONE-YEAR Guarantee. If your nanny resigns or is terminated within one year of paying the hiring fee, you may begin another nanny search at no cost. We are extremely certain that our nannies are committed to the stability in your family and are happy to stand behind each and every family that hires one of our nannies!
