Some Questions that ABC Nanny Source asks MA Nannies!
During the screening process to be accepted by ABC Nanny Source for representation, recruiters and Placement Counselors pose a series of questions. Here are a few examples of the queries they ask:
1. Why did you decide to become a nanny instead of pursuing a childcare position at a school or daycare?
2. In terms of the age group of children that you feel most at ease working with, which group would you say it is?
3. What are your thoughts and perspectives on the concept of discipline?
4. Please express in your own words what you believe constitutes a phenomenal nanny.
5. If you were to encounter any inquiries pertaining to the portrayal of a family role, how would you address them? Would you seek to resolve any uncertainties prior to accepting the position or would you rely on optimism afterwards?
6. What kinds of educational and play activities do you intend to include in the daily schedule?
7. In your previous experiences, what type of communication style have you typically employed when working with families? Additionally, I am interested to know if you have plans to maintain a daily events journal to keep us updated on the day's happenings?
8. Are you someone who would classify themselves as a reliable caregiver?
9. In your opinion, which attribute of yours stands out the most? In what area do you believe you need to make improvements?
10. Do you have any inquiries regarding our agency and the process? Are there any specific questions you would like to ask about our agency and the process?
