“I have a very outgoing, energetic personality. I became a nanny because of the one on one care I could give the child verses a daycare. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because my love for children, and my care and attention I could give the child. The week before she was hired, I was pregnant with mono-di twins, diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and was hospitalized. A week later our twins were born premature and admitted in the NICU unit of the hospital. We also have a son who was 12 months old at the time and it was an extremely stressful and challenging time for me. We needed fulltime live in support, but were apprehensive at first about inviting someone that we did not know into our home. Tenesha was an excellent housemate, very respectful and considerate. She made this transition easy for us. Our twins spent several weeks in the NICU unit. Tenesha and I visited them daily in the hospital, and she assisted me to care for our babies. She mastered their special care with such ease and devotion because she is such a wonderfully loving, attentive, and caring individual. She is very organized, pays attention to detail, and follows instructions. Time management is also one of her great qualities and she is able to carry out feedings, changes, naps, bedtime routines, playtime, light housekeeping, and developmental activities in a very timely manner. When Tenesha started her position, she was very flexible with our needs and helped us by working a night shift to take care of the twins. This need was in place for about five (5) months until the twins were able to sleep through the night. Then our needs changed to a daytime schedule, which Tenesha transitioned to with ease. She was in charge of their daily routine and maintenance that included but was not limited to: babies' laundry; bottle washing; formula bottle preparation; administering daily medicine and or occasional pain medication for teething; keeping a daily log of food and formula intake, BMs/wet diapers, and medicine times; bathing and putting the twins to bed. She was always very attentive and engaging with our babies by reading, playing, singing, or taking them for walks or playing outside. She truly demonstrated utmost care and trustworthiness with our children. We know without question that she will provide any family with the most excellent care and service available. She is such an amazing and knowledgeable caregiver that we were very lucky and fortunate to have had her in our home taking care of our family's needs.”

She has also tutored my 8 year old in math as well as my 5 year old in reading in order to improve their grades in school.
