“I am outgoing, energetic, patient, caring, and loving. The reason I choose to be a Laurelhurst Nanny is because of the rewarding qualities that the position contains. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other, it would have to be because I enjoy working with children and their families. I love being a part of the growing and learning process as well as helping them grow together as a family and as individuals. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 5 years and can honestly say I adore what I do! I feel the children are the key to our future and development. She was always very neat and organized and made sure all children were safe especially when outside to play. She was always there when needed and always willing to help. She made sure the children in her classroom were always engaged, either in an activity or just listening to a story being read. The children were never bored or lingering as they were either playing, reading, or making a special craft for their parents. Her love for children cannot be mistaken and I would trust her even with my own children.”

“Sarah was myself and my brother’s Laurelhurst Nanny when were 6 and 4, respectively. She always made sure that we were fed and happily entertained. She would play which ever reasonable games we wanted to play and made sure that we weren’t going to hurt ourselves. When it came time to going to bed, she washed us up and tucked us into bed. Sarah made sure that we were comfortable and stayed with us as long as we needed her to be there until we fell asleep. She stayed the night just about every time she cared for us. Sarah was with us until we moved away about two years later.”
