"I am a very friendly and outgoing person. I work with infants at this time. This is a position that I am extremely passionate about. I have a wonderful relationship with the parents of the children in my care. I am a very proud grandmother of seven who is extremely family-oriented. I would like to be a nanny because I have a lot to offer as I am experienced with young children and have a positive attitude. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I would like to keep working with children and families as I have twenty five years of experience. There is nothing I have found to be more rewarding. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 25 years and can honestly say I absolutely love what I do! I feel the children are the most important people in our lives. We must provide them with the best care. Education and social skills are so important at that young age. My goal as a nanny is to offer a positive environment every day. I will be following the parent’s goals for their children at all times. I am willing to do housekeeping such as laundry and dishes. I am not afraid to clean or prepare meals. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am happy, outgoing, honest, dependable, and caring. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include reading and doing art projects. Outdoor activities are also important. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Queens Household Manager like me I would hope they would be a happy close knit family."
"Pam took great care of my daughter and put her safety and care ahead of everything else. Being new parents, she was also available to share her experiences on how to handle various challenges (sleeping issues, teething, etc.). For my wife and I, the job requirements were taking care of Michaela and making sure that her need were met, that she was safe, and that she learned and had fun at daycare. Pam made that happen every day. Our experience with Pam has been very positive. She genuinely cares about the children that she watches. When the management of the daycare center made decisions that Pam thought negatively impacted the children, Pam stood up for what she thought was right time and time again. My daughter loves Pam and her face lights up each morning when she sees her. Pam will be dearly missed by us and I know she will make a great addition to any new family."
"Pam is an amazing woman. She is committed, good hearted, hardworking, and not only loves children, she loves being with them, working with them, and contributing to their growth and development. Both parents and their children tend to become attached to her - and the feeling is mutual. The relationships she develops with families tend to be lasting ones. While in many ways a child at heart, Pam is also incredibly responsible and the kind of individual that believes in continually improving herself. Whether it’s taking classes to gain another certification or credential, she consistently seeks out ways to enhance her professionalism and abilities. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for Pam and highly recommend her for any position involving the care of children."
"In the time that Pam was with our family for many years and not once did I ever experience any concerns or stress about leaving my children in her care. She was patient and loving with our girls and was highly conscious of safety. She went above and beyond her job description, helping us with child product research, ideas for play and development, making and freezing nutritional meals for the girls, organizing their room, packing up the girls for trips away... the list really goes on and on. Pam’s calm and professional demeanor is a huge plus for families who are juggling multiples as well as two full-time jobs. I definitely recommend Pam as a patient and committed caregiver!"
"Pam is the best Queens Household Manager we have had! She is reliable, responsible, caring, warm and fun. Pam’s responsibilities were primarily for the children, but typically I would come home to a squeaky clean house – this, of course, was a bonus! My children were well cared for and happy. My husband and I were beyond comfortable and confident in Pam’s judgment and care of our children. I never saw her remotely frazzled, she multi tasks well, and truly loves children and all their nuances! She exceeded the job requirements, and taking care of three children under the age of four is a challenge! My children are now 9 years old, 8 years old, and 6 years old, and they still love when Pam comes over! Pam is genuinely interested and intrigued by children of all ages. She loves babies and has endless patience for them. At any age, my children loved when Pam arrived because she would always bring a bag full of crafts and activities that engaged them for long periods of time. She is the type of person who makes the room happier when she walks in! She is positive, welcoming and has always been mature beyond her years. She always complied with my requests relating to limiting TV viewing, enforcing my healthy eating requests with the children and in general just "being on my same page." Pam is the only childcare provider we ever took on vacation with us because we truly love being with her! She is intelligent, pleasant and a great person to be around! Additionally, she is the only childcare we ever allowed to drive our children anywhere. Pam is a wonderful person, and anyone has the opportunity to hire her will be truly pleased! I recommend her unconditionally."
