"I am an active, creative and caring individual that absolutely loves working with children! If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would be because being with children puts a smile on my face! I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 5 years and can honestly say I love and care about what I do! I feel the children are our future! It is extremely important to help them learn, grow, and teach them good morals. They are extremely impressionable and as a childcare provider it is very important to be good role models for them. My goal as a Nanny is to go above and beyond, to provide quality care and create a loving and trusting relationship with the family. I am willing to do any light housekeeping including dishes, vacuuming, straightening playrooms, and anything else that the family may request. I am extremely flexible! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Long Island Live Out Nanny like me I would hope they would be friendly and communicative."
"Barb always performed above and beyond the job requirements! She always came to work with a smile on her face and always seemed to be in a great mood! She was always on time and she never took a day off. Anything that was asked of her, Barb was right on top of it making sure that not only were the children happy, but also that the family members felt comfortable keeping their children at the preschool. She was very organized and always brought new ideas to the table. Barb always put the children first and made sure that they were safe! Compared to some of the other employees, Barb truly cared about the children. She had such compassion for them. When it was time for her to leave to go to college, the children asked for her every day! Working with Barb was a pleasant experience. She never brought problems from outside of work in and she was always happy! She was above all a team player. Many of her coworkers would do their job and only their job, but if Barb saw that someone needed help, she would be the first to jump in. She was very efficient and would work from the time she got in until the time she was ready to leave! She always made sure the classroom was neat, clean and well decorated. Barb always got along well with her coworkers, the children and the families. I believe that she will be an asset to any family!"
"Barbara has cared for my children who are 10 years old, 8 years old and 7 years old since they were younger. She is patient, kind, and treats all equal! I had a very hard time picking out just five best traits about her! She has taught them in Sunday School, has sat down with them to do projects, she loves to read with them and the list goes on and on. Barb is very creative and is always coming up with new ideas. I have always trusted her to care for my children and I really hope you consider her as a candidate for a Long Island Live Out Nanny position."
"Barb has always been wonderful with children! She has a genuine love for children that shines through whenever she is around them! She loves to care for and play with my four-year-old son and I have never hesitated leaving him in her care. She is an exceptional young woman and would be a wonderful addition to any family seeking a Nanny!"
"Barb was a wonderful worker! She was very attentive to all of the children and was very focused on helping them learn and develop. When Barb was working with the infant group, she was very nurturing. She would feed, diaper, and play with the infants. She enjoyed that age group a lot. When the babies were awake she would sing to them, and play with them. With the toddler group - which Barb also enjoyed, she would feed, diaper or assist with potty training and would play with them. She enjoyed helping them color, learn songs, do puzzles and dance! If the parents had special requests, Barb would always remember what the parents requested. She always did what I asked her to. I loved having her as a worker. When Barb applied to be an assistant care provider at my day care, I was very excited to hire her! She came in with a wonderful personality and she never changed! She was very sweet to everyone and you can see her love for children immediately! She was not coming to work for a paycheck - she was coming to work because she loved what she was doing! She always dressed professionally and acted appropriately. I really enjoyed having Barb as an Long Island Live Out Nanny!"
