"I am easy going and upbeat. I smile easily and make friends quickly. I get along with everyone. I take people for who they are and accept them. I aim to be my personal best, and bring the best out in others. I can tell when children need space, care, or more information. I am warm and genuine in my concern for others, including both parents and children. I am considerate of other people’s space and home. As a nanny, I strive to be whatever the family needs me to be while bringing out the best in their children. I have always been eager to please as an employee, and have a great work ethic. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession with the Nannies in Bronx NY over any other it would have to be because caring for others is a huge part of my life. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 20 years and can honestly say I enjoy what I do! I have worked with all ages, from young infants to high school aged young adults. I feel that children are individuals. You have to learn about each child, know what they need on all levels, and provide it for them. My goal as a Nanny is to nurture the child/children and anticipate and fulfill the needs/wishes of the family. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes dusting, vacuum, wipe/sanitize surfaces, and laundry. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am friendly, kind, warm, genuine, and happy. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include some form of physical activity outside on good weather days, arts and crafts, and any special activities the child/children like to do. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be honest, open to communication, and accept me into their home as a part of their family."
