“I am a caring, nurturing individual! Being a nanny or a Warren County Mothers Helper allows me to work in the area I most enjoy – working closely with children. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I enjoy planning games and activities to entertain and educate children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 25 years and can honestly say I adore what I do! I feel the children are fun, entertaining, inquisitive, enjoyable, and precious. My goal as a Nanny is to play, educate, care for, protect, and have fun with the children. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes vacuuming, dusting, dishes, errands, laundry, and grocery shopping. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am energetic, loving, kind, intelligent and fun. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include arts and crafts, physical activities, and educational activities. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be easy going, communicative, and kind!”
“Julie did a great job at keeping my children eager to attend before and after school care during the school year while she worked for me as a Warren County Mothers Helper! She had fun things planned, provided activities and helped them with their homework. Julie has always brought problems up to me in a timely, professional manner. She remembers my children’s accomplishments and used positive reinforcement when she saw my boys doing something good. Any family would be lucky to have her!”
“Julie was in charge of the YMCA after school childcare in which Sarah was enrolled. She communicated well with me as parent and was well liked by the children in her care. Homework was always completed before I picked Sarah up, and some sort of activity was taking place (as opposed to sitting around). Her rapport with my daughter as well as the other children was amazing. My daughter loved being with her, and would even opt to go with her on days off from school as opposed to staying home. On those days, Sarah always returned home with some craft or activity that she did with Miss Julie. I have even heard from other parents talk about how much they like her. I always knew that Sarah was being well taken care of, entertained, and enjoying her time with "Miss Julie". She was truly a wonderful Warren County Mothers Helper and will be sorely missed by our family.”
