“I am a very understanding, sensitive, nurturing, fun and kind Sussex County Live Out Nanny. My goal is to learn as much as I can about children and being a great teacher for children. I want to be a nanny because I love children and want to spend time with them and help them learn more about having fun, and things such as sharing and being creative. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love children and want to have that great connection between nanny and child; I want to be able to interact with children and help them develop and improve in great ways and by helping them, I am also learning more about being a better educator and teacher. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over eight years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are wonderful individuals. I know that each child is their own person and learns in their own way. Children are treasures and have so much spirit and passion. They are very curious about the world around them, which I think is wonderful. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, helping out with the children’s homework, doing dishes, and tidying up the children's rooms. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am understanding, nurturing, fun, kind, and funny. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include playing games, like tag or puzzles and other games. When the weather is nice, I would suggest to the children we go outside, like walking to a park. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be a kind, understanding, and patient family. I would hope the family would be one who I could have great and positive communication.”
