"I have a very strong belief in educating the whole child. Social, emotional and physical education are equally as important as academics. For the last two years I have been teaching Kindergarten in public school. There is such pressure to achieve; the fun creative part of childhood is getting pushed to the side. I want to be a Nanny because I want to get back to teaching the "whole" child. Besides being a teacher, I am a warm loving mom! I believe I would be an asset to any family who is looking for a nurturing caregiver. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I believe caring for and educating young children is the most challenging, rewarding and important career there is! I feel the children are what keep me young at heart and happy to get up every day. My goal as a Nanny is to help the children in my care to be kind and caring children who are curious and always interested in learning. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes preparing snacks and meals, going out to play or to the park, arts and crafts and helping with any school work. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am cheerful, enthusiastic, fun, nurturing, and caring! Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include story time, creative arts, writing, music time, and outdoor and indoor physical activities! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be a family who loves their children and is very involved in their lives."
"I am a very helpful person that enjoys being around children! Because of the large size of my family I have always been around children and have always helped babysit or complete homework! Being a Nanny means to me that I am able to be a positive influence on the children I work with! I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 11 years and can honestly say I LOVE what I do! I feel the children are exciting and have as much to teach you as you do them. My goal as a Nanny is to be a role model. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes making beds, doing dishes, and vacuuming. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am fun, happy, energetic, educated, and sturdy! Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include going to the park, playing game, music time, and reading with or to the children. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be friendly and trustful!"
"I have been a Nanny for over 11 years. The last family I cared for lasted 7 years! I became more like a family member than an employee. I adore children, always have! I have two children of my own. I would treat the children I care for as I would treat my own. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I adore the innocence of children, and want to be the one they look up to. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 20 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are innocent and fragile little people, and deserve the best care and guidance in life. My goal as a Nanny is to provide the best care and guidance I can! I am willing to do housekeeping that includes meal preparation, laundry, cleaning up after children, and tidying up the house. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am responsible, patient, fun, loving, and educated. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include outdoors as much as possible (weather permitting), story time, coloring, any kind of project I could think of! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be kind, accepting, and just a loving caring environment!"
“I am energetic and adore working with children. Ever since I can remember, I have had a rapport with children, especially toddlers. I have been taking care of my younger cousins since I was a pre-teen and started working as a summer counselor when I was in high school. I believe that all children are inherently good at heart and just need the right guidance, attention and stimulation in order to be their best. I have several years of professional experience in the classroom and as a babysitter. I have worked with all ages from infants to teens, and have my NY State teacher’s certificate. I also have experience as a tutor, working with students in middle school through college level. I am well adept at household chores as well, and am a very good cook. I love to bake, do arts and crafts and garden in my spare time and would love to share these hobbies with the children I care for on a daily basis. I would be able to help keep up the house, prepare meals and assist with homework and/or projects. I have a great respect for the time and care that it takes to raise children and it would be my goal as a Nanny to help a family do so in accordance with their values and rules.”
"If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I like working with children, therefore I find that that working as a Nanny is a perfect position for me. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 10 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are our future. My goal as a Nanny is to provide a safe and healthy environment. I am willing to do light housework around the home to help out. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am dynamic, honest, fun, organized, and punctual."
