“I am a very motivated and hard-working individual who is high energy and enthusiastic! I prefer to be active and enjoy the outdoors. I want to be a nanny because I enjoy children and feel that I have a lot to offer a family. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I enjoy working with children and being active. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 8 years, including experience at a Middlesex County After School Program, and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are open-minded, ready to learn, excited, fun, and innocent. My goal as a Nanny is to protect, educate, and entertain. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes cooking, cleaning, pet care, and laundry. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am trustworthy, reliable, active, easy-going, kind. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include some form of exercise, educational activities, spending time outdoors on nice days. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be a family with strong morals and standards, good communication skills, and enjoy being very active.”

“I knew Dianna as a fellow teacher and coworker at a Middlesex County After School Program. Dianna has done a fabulous job with these classes making the transition a smooth one for the students. The following are my observations of her teaching. Dianna has done an excellent job teaching. Dianna exhibited a competency in both subject knowledge and an adaptability of teaching style to fit the various needs of the students. In the classroom, Dianna exhibited a firm grasp of classroom management and used a variety of classroom management techniques. Dianna presented herself as an authority figure in the classroom, earned the students’ respect, and has a nice, professional rapport with the students. Dianna has a very relaxed approach and the students seemed to readily accept her as their teacher and opened up to her. Dianna’s lessons employed a variety of teaching techniques and she was confident in the implementation of these lessons. Dianna exhibited the ability to adjust her lessons and styles to the diverse learning population in each class and was successful in doing so. She was always very tactful and courteous when dealing with her students, parents, and peers. She seemed to truly care for her students and was willing to spend the extra time and effort in helping them achieve. During her time at our High School, Dianna has really grown as a teacher. Personally, Dianna is a pleasure to work with and I am always confident that everything is in order and taken care of when I come in to teach on my days. All the qualities mentioned above made mine and the students transition a smooth one. Dianna is a hard worker with a great personality that will make her blossom as a teacher!”

“Diana joined us the first day of school when a teacher accepted a position in another district and left us with an unfilled position. She filled that position seamlessly, immediately getting up to speed with curriculum, students, their backgrounds and learning needs, and the staff. She then took the existing curriculum and augmented it with activities and authentic assessments in which our students became immersed. As a coordinator I am in charge with organizing a staff of about 15, keeping them updated with school developments, performing professional development activities, and meeting professional responsibilities. Dianna was never a problem I this area. She was in attendance, on time and prepared for everything that was asked of her and was ready to volunteer for things like open house and SLC activities. Her classroom management is very good; the students like and warm to her open engaging style of interaction, all while maintaining a professional boundary. In addition to her teaching, she was an assistant coach on our school Swim Team, was a frequent chaperone at school dances and events, helped out at the Middlesex County After School Program, and regularly attended student-sporting events. Dianna exudes a spirit that she enjoys her job and that she genuinely cares about students and has their best interests at heart. This answers how she is able to command her classroom. Students recognize that they are safe and then want to please her. It will be a great loss to no have Dianna as a part of our staff, but a great gain to anyone else who hires her!”

“Team player, open-minded, helpful, and professional are a few words that come to mind when speaking of Dianna’s dealing with both the staff and student body. Dianna was willing to lend a helping hand when needed. She actively assisted me in holding conflict resolution sessions and then referring students to the appropriate staff member if the problem grew out of control. When working with students at the Middlesex County After School Program, she was sincere about helping them to present their best work and would diligently work with student to help them reach their potential. Dianna’s laid-back demeanor allowed for students to feel comfortable in speaking with her on many occasions. Through her many interactive and fun lessons, Dianna tried to stimulate and keep her students interested in Social Studies. I truly enjoyed working with Dianna this school year and wholeheartedly recommend her for hire with anyone!”
