"I am a responsible, but fun loving Burlington County Before School Nanny who has a love for children! I taught reading and public speaking to middle school students for 2 ½ years, but missed caring for the younger children. I do still have the teacher mentality in me and love to teach while we play! I grew up in a family of teachers who are supportive, loving and adventurous. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because caring and teaching children is not only what I excel at, but luckily it also makes me genuinely happy in life! I have been serving in some form of childcare for over 7 years and can honestly say I truly love what I do! I feel the children are sponges! They crave to learn and try new things. Although some TV shows are educational, I would much rather play and learn with the child to have him/her grow cognitively and physically. My goal as a Nanny is to love! I enjoy feeling like part of the family, as I often get close with the child I am caring for, as well as the family members. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, light cleaning, meal preparation, and errands.
