Lebanon County Summer Nanny Joanie can provide undivided attention to your children, and will make their days fun filled!
“I would describe my personality as an easy going disposition, energetic, optimistic, and creative. I love people and children and have a warm friendly empathetic demeanor along with a passion for education and a keen understanding that all children learn differently. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it is because I believe being a Lebanon County Summer Nanny would be a good fit for my personality, my nature to be creative, I love change in a daily routine and I love children! I have been serving in some form of childcare for over 30 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are energetic, delightful, and full of questions and humor. Although I teach them, they also teach me. Their minds are like sponges, inquisitive, thoughtful, funny and honest. My goal as a Nanny would be to understand the family as a whole, understand each child’s needs, learning abilities and interests to make their day comfortable, secure and fun while their parents are working. Also, my goal would be to assure the parents that I have their interests at heart and realize the responsibility of giving their children the best care I can. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes light breakfast and lunch, laundering, and clean ups. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am loving, patient, creative, energetic, and intuitive. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include riding bikes, swimming, walk, library, projects/crafts, catch, learn alphabet, write name, etc., conversation (I feel that is very important), parks, places of interest, movies, go for an ice cream and whatever the children enjoy doing and the parents would like me to incorporate. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would a warm and loving family who is confident they can rely on me!”
“Joanie and I attend the same church. I have seen her in passing since I was pregnant with my twins, about 4 years ago. We were at a town-wide festival and she had some food that she purchased. We stopped to greet her and she just about gave all of her french fries to our twin girls! She was so sweet and gentle with them. Since then, we continued to speak in passing until she became their Sunday school teacher. The girls absolutely love her and we feel comfortable knowing she is with them. She is kind and patient--she listens to the children when they have something to say or just need to talk as most preschoolers do. I have asked her to provide childcare and we are extremely careful with whom we allow to be with our children. I highly recommend her as a Lebanon County Summer Nanny.”
“Yes, she did everything she was expected to do to the best of her ability. I was the counselor and she was a nanny in the classroom. She was positive and genuinely cared for the children. She had great enthusiasm and could express it in creative ways. She seemed to work especially well in one on one situation or with small groups of children as opposed to the large group. Her strengths definitely lie in her ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with the children and to tune into their interests and abilities as individuals. For this reason, I think she would do an excellent job in as a Lebanon County Summer Nanny.”
“Throughout our friendship, Joan has demonstrated love, support, and friendship to my own two daughters. She has been by their side since they were born. She always takes the time to talk to my daughters about what is happening in their lives. She is patient, understanding, and genuinely interested in their wellbeing. I know that in any situation, she would be calm and efficient. She works professionally and efficiently with an employer. She is active in sports and fishing, and she shows an interest in their lives. I believe she would do wonderfully with any children she works with. I highly recommend her as a Lebanon County Summer Nanny.”
“Joan has a special gift and interest in understanding and reaching out to children. This is especially noted in children with special needs. Instead of becoming annoyed with a problem behavior, she sees to understand the cause and seek a solution to meet the needs of the child. In the event of an emergency, I know Joan would stay calm and handle things efficiently. She has a non-assuming presentation that puts people at ease. This allows her to direct conversation and present alternative coping ideas without appearing condescending. I highly recommend Joan for a position as a Lebanon County Summer Nanny!”
