Though she is currently working with children at a Cumberland County After School Program, Natalie would be spectacular in a nanny position for any family!
“I am very responsible and fun to be around! I love to play and children always have fun when they are with me. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking and camping. I love writing and photography. I also like to relax with a board game or puzzle. My passion is hula hooping (I even make them in my spare time)! I feel it is important to engage and stimulate children. I am easy going yet stand firm and take control of a situation if need be. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because it is a joy for me to watch children grow and learn and I love being able to support and care for them. I have been serving in a Cumberland County After School Program for over 5 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel that children are receptive to everything around them. It is important to be understanding and nurturing with them. My goal as a Nanny is to help children grow and develop in a healthy way, to be a friend and playmate, but also an authority figure. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes dishes, laundry, preparing meals, sweeping/ vacuuming, running errands, grocery shopping. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am responsible, creative, silly, energetic, and outdoorsy. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include trips to the library/ museum/ park, arts and crafts, stories, coloring, playing pretend, sports/ outside time and anything else the children (or the parents) would like me to do. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be friendly and welcoming. I would like to feel like a part of the family!”
“As a nanny to my two boys ages 6 and 10, for the past 8 months, Natalie has proven herself to be a remarkably responsible young woman! Her day begins at 5:00 am, and not only does she take care of our children but also cares for our 3 dogs. She takes care of the morning routine remarkably well. This consists of breakfast for my children, teeth brushing (which for two boys is a challenge in its self), getting dressed and out the door to school on time with lunches and book bags in toe. She has done a wonderful job in managing our household morning routine. I am confident that Natalie will be a great asset to any Cumberland County After School Program!”
“Natalie worked with my family for over three years. When my son started school she cleaned the house, did laundry and watched the dogs and cat when the house was empty. Natalie was affectionate and caring with my children. She handled herself very well in situations involving tantrums; she would never yell at them. She is extremely patient and understanding with children. The most impressive thing about Natalie is that the children were always doing something! She took them to the library every Monday, she took them to the park or museum or petting zoo. They were never bored and neither was she. She was also very reliable with scheduling and always willing to go the extra mile for our family. It is obvious that Natalie loves being a nanny! She treated my children like they were her own and I am confident that she will treat the next family in the same way. I highly recommend her and any Cumberland County After School Program!”
“It is my pleasure to recommend Natalie for a Cumberland County After School Program position! Natalie has worked for me a child care provider on several occasions. She has impressed me as a competent and knowledgeable individual who has shown great skill and patience when caring for my children and is compassionate and understanding in all her interactions with them. She consistently demonstrates responsibility and reliability. I highly recommend Natalie. She is excellent and shows her obvious love for children through her hard work and commitment!”
“I have been a friend of Natalie for the last 17 years, and know her very well. Natalie not only has plenty of experience working with children, but she also possesses personal characteristics that make her exceptionally qualified to be a nanny. Foremost, she is an extremely loyal person on whom you can always depend and trust. She is sensitive and understanding, but not at the cost of being assertive and firm. Children love to be around Natalie, because she is energetic and uses her creativity to make any activity fun. However, she also understands how to gain children’s respect without losing their affection. Natalie truly loves working with children, and deeply cares about each child she works with. Having her as a nanny would leave your children in excellent hands, and I would highly recommend her to any Cumberland County After School Program!”
“I have had the honor of seeing Natalie grow from a small infant in my arms to a wonderful, caring adult. Throughout her childhood she has always been the one to comfort any of the other children when they have been hurt or sad. She has brought home many injured individuals (human and animal) and provided them love, care and support. Natalie has always been the “mother” of her group of friends; she has been the one they have gone to for advice, support and unconditional acceptance. She has a high degree of common sense and does not lose her composure during an emergency. She once witnessed someone being hit by a car and immediately went to their aid, comforting them and keeping them calm and still until help arrived. She is intelligent and intuitive; a great combination when it comes to caring for others. Natalie has always been great with younger children; they immediately gravitate towards her and trust her. She treats children with respect, listening to them and not disregarding them as “too young to know anything” while still instilling in them that she is in charge. Needless to say Natalie is a fantastic nanny and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for compassionate and competent care for their child at a Cumberland County After School Program!”
