During the screening process for representation by ABC Nanny Source, our recruiters and Placement Counselors ask a variety of questions. These inquiries are aimed at ensuring that potential candidates meet the criteria set by our Agency. Below, you will find a selection of the questions posed by our team.
1. Why did you decide to pursue a career in nannying rather than opting for other childcare positions in educational institutions or daycare facilities?
2. In terms of the age group of children, with whom do you find yourself most at ease while working?
3. "What are your thoughts and perspectives on the subject of discipline?"
4. Can you please explain to me what, in your opinion, constitutes an exceptional nanny?
5. If you were to encounter any inquiries regarding the family position's description, how would you approach the situation? Would you strive to resolve any uncertainties prior to accepting the position or would you rely on optimism and address them later on?
6. What types of activities, both educational and play, do you envision incorporating into the daily plan?
7. In your previous work experiences, what type of communication style have you typically encountered when interacting with the families you have served? Will you be maintaining a daily events journal to ensure that we stay updated about the activities that occur throughout the day?
8. Are you someone who would consider themselves to be a reliable caregiver?
