“I really thought when I started interviewing Nannies it would take weeks to weed out the good Nannies, but I was so pleased to find that ABC Nanny Source only sent qualified candidates who were professional and experienced. We chose our Nanny the same week we registered and she has been wonderful! The hardest part of the process was deciding between the great candidates!”

"If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love taking care of children and giving them a feeling of comfort and safety! I have been serving in some form of childcare for over 3 years and can honestly say I am proud of what I do! I feel the children are a source of happiness. Parents come home and the children tell them how much fun we had! Infants seem to connect easily with me and feel comforted. My goal as a Nanny is to make the children I work with feel comfortable with me and know that they are going to be safe while their parents are gone. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes vacuuming, dishes, and light cleaning. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am trusting, honest, loving, caring, and happy. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include belly time for infants so they can exercise. We would work on lots of sensory activities so they get used to different textures. If they are older then 6 months, then I would let them do small art projects with harmless things. If I were watching a toddler then we would read books. We would also sing lots of different songs and talk about colors depending on their age. I would incorporate working on self-help skills so they can learn to be independent. Also lots of art projects so they can express their creativity! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be fun and understanding!"
