"I am a very energetic and outgoing person with strong morals and values! I have been attending college for a year and it is my main goal to graduate with a degree. My family and I have always been very close and they are supportive in everything I do. I am currently engaged and plan to get married. I have wanted to be a nanny for a while because I love working with children of all ages. Ever since I can remember I have been told I have good motherly qualities. I love being around children! "I love children! I have been around kids all my life caring for family and friends. I have a great personality and kids love me! I’m fun loving, sweet, smart, and a kid at heart! "Since I was a young girl, I enjoyed working with children! Now as an adult, I continue to enjoy working with children. Over the course of eleven years, I have cared for children of varying ages including newborn twins, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary aged children, pre-teens and young adults with disabilities. I truly enjoy the challenges and opportunities I have faced. Over the course of time when I have provided childcare to families, I have fond memories from each of these families. One such memory was with a family, who I continue to care for, was in the process of adopting their second child. I was honored when they asked me to go to Florida with them to be a part of the process and to also care for their other child once they receive the long awaited call that their child was born! With this family there have also been nights and long weekends when I have cared for their children while they were at functions out of state. With a strong interest in people with disabilities, I became interested in providing respite care to families with members having disabilities. While caring for children, I believe I need to not only care for them in the absence of their parents, but also educate them at whatever level.
