“I really thought when I started interviewing Nannies it would take weeks to weed out the good Nannies, but I was so pleased to find that ABC Nanny Source only sent qualified candidates who were professional and experienced. We chose our Nanny the same week we registered and she has been wonderful! The hardest part of the process was deciding between the great candidates!”

"People describe me as a pleasant, happy person who loves children! I enjoy my family, my position teaching at a local nursery school, teaching dance to children, and volunteering with children at my church. Being a nanny would be a further extension of my interest and love for children! I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 30 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are a gift from God. They are full of potential, creativity, and surprises! It is a privilege and joy to have a part in their process of growing up and becoming a happy, productive, and encouraging individual. My goal as a Nanny is to support and assist the family I am assigned in order to fulfill their personal goals for their children, and to create a safe, fun, positive and peaceful environment for the children to be in while they are away from their parents. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am cooperative, pleasant, careful, thorough, and hard working! Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include working together doing chores, taking trips, going to lessons, and assisting with tutoring if desired. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be happy children who are cooperative and obedient, and parents who are grateful and understanding, as we each are trying our best to please each other!"

"I am an open minded, 32 year old woman who just moved back to the Southern, NJ area after living in Harrisburg, PA for 13 years. I moved home to be closer to my family and friends. I have a wonderfully close-knit family with whom I spend as much time with as possible. I have a 15-year-old nephew, 5-year-old niece and a 3 week old, brand new nephew! I love spending time with all of them; they are a huge part of my life. Growing up, I helped out in the nursery at my church, as well as with Youth Group, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School. I babysat for many children in my church and in my community. When I was in my early teens, I babysat for a little girl after school, and at night on the weekends. I also went away with her and her family on vacations to help care for her! While I lived in Harrisburg, I worked in a daycare for a short time. I realized that it wasn’t enough one-on-one interaction with the children, and that if I was to be in that kind of environment, I wanted to have more of an impact. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love children and want to do something rewarding and worthwhile. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 20 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel children are our future! What children are taught and experience now, will be part of the person that they grow to become. My goal as a Nanny is to be fun and energetic, to be open minded and caring, to teach the children and learn from them at the same time, to be someone the family can trust with their most trusted possessions-their children! I am willing to do housekeeping that includes dusting, vacuuming, dishes, and whatever else the family asks of me! If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am trustworthy, loyal, honest, caring, and giving. I would like to incorporate activities for the child that encompasses learning with fun and hands-on activities. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be open-minded, caring, fun and trustworthy!"

"I am a sixth grade teacher who would like to stay busy and earn a supplemental income during the summer. I graduated from college 3 years ago, and have been teaching full-time ever since. I love it! I would like to have children of my own someday, but until that time, I would cherish the chance to help other children have a fun and productive summer! I am extremely organized, and try to keep kids away from the television and get some fresh air! The ideal Nanny position would be a few children who enjoy each other's company. I would love to be able to take them to the pool or park sometimes. I do not mind cleaning up after them, and am willing to do some light housework if the opportunity arises. I would like to have a positive influence on the lives of children in this world of hurt and neglect. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for 10 years and I absolutely love what I do! I feel the children are a gift to be nurtured to become responsible adults. They should be taught respect in a loving environment, and also learn creative ways to have fun! My goal as a Nanny is to relieve the pressures of the parents so that they can come home to a quiet, orderly home. My goals would also be to make summer a time of discovery and learning! I would communicate with the parents by keeping a log of daily activities and questions.
