I would describe myself as honest, reliable, and well mannered. Most importantly, I love working with children! I am married with two grown children. I enjoy being around children and making a positive impact on their lives. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because working with children is the most rewarding career for me! I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 14 years and can honestly say I really enjoy what I do! I feel children are a blessing for their family and a source of happiness! My goal as a Nanny is to take care of the children in my care and provide love and attention while their parents cannot. My goal is to make a positive impact on the child’s upbringing. “I am an outgoing, fun-loving person who loves children and animals. I enjoy arts and crafts, reading, and indoor/outdoor activities. I am studying to be a School Psychologist. I have and older brother and an older sister, both married. My sister has three beautiful girls, ages 1, 4, and 6 who I adore! I have been a Classroom Aide in a Preschool Disabled Unit through the Evesham Township School District for the last 5 years. I work particularly with children ages 3 to 6 with Autism. I have a very personable and upbeat personality. I enjoy interacting with others and have spent a significant amount of time in my past employment in a position that required that I be in constant contact with children whose ages ranged between 5-18. I’ve found my work with children to be quite rewarding and enjoyed the feeling of being consistently depended upon. I have attained a 4-year degree in journalism, with a minor in early childhood education. In order to receive my minor, I spent time doing fieldwork in elementary schools throughout my school district in Georgia. It is my goal to receive my teachers certification in Elementary education; I hope to also one day attain my Masters as well. I am the oldest of 6 children, and have felt that my being so has given me a strong maternal instinct; one that has served me well in my consistent work with children over the years!
